I Have visited this hotel 5 times now since last year and have never been disappointed, staff are friendly and efficient, will definitely return and recommend to family and friends, thank you for a wonderful holiday. The outdoor pool is great .

My stay was quite enjoyable. The hotel was charming and provided everything I needed. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My room was comfortable and quiet. I plan to stay here again on my next visit to Blackpool. It's far enough up the Prom to be quiet, but the tram stops right across the road which is very convenient for getting down to the piers and Pleasure Beach. The view of the sea was also nice, and so was the breakfast and dinner. All round a lovey stay

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. This time was for my 40th Birthday there was 22 of us in total with ten rooms. I was very disappointed this time. The reception staff were not helpful with one of the bookings i had to spend two hours on the phone despite me showing evidence that i’d booked the all inclusive and it then cost nearly £300 more for that room. I had to ask 3 times for toilet roll for one of the rooms first asked in the morning g finally got them around 8pm that evening. The fruit machine stated we won £55 then didn’t pay out also happens to another guest at £25 nither was paid out. The bins in the room weren’t emptied despite the cleaner coming in. The te and coffee in the room wasn’t topped up before our arrival. I was really disappointed this time with our stay and found the reception staff and manger were not helpful at all.

It was brilliant everything except the room was a bit small

Room overlooking out door pool, corridor outside wasn't cleaned properly. Upon check-in we were informed of £50 per nightcarge for damage. Thus putting £100 extra on the bill.Staff in restaurants very helpfull breakfast was very nice.

Clean sea view room, staff were very friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Entertainment every night was great.

The place was clean. Although a bit date especially the bedroom. Staff couldnt do a enough for you. Especially me withxa gluten and dairy intollerance.

Surprised at check in as we were booked into the annex. This was not made clear when book. Issue was my wife is disabled and was a bit of a walk and no lift. The girl on reception was quite sympathetic and did show us the room and also was going to check on other room availability. However, we were only staying the night so decided to stay in the annex. The outdoor pool was right outside so very handy and we had a really good stay. Breakfast also needs a mention as it was excellent quality and portion size. Very happy to book another stay there in the future.

Room was decent and clean. Only negative we found was the bed was very uncomfortable. You could feel every spring in the bed. You could hear every movment from the corridor. Drunk people at 2 am shouting in the corridor to. The cooked breakfast was luke warm. Limited items included on the cooked breakfast. We was lucky that hash browns were served on that particular morning. Indoor pool is why we chose this hotel which was great. Staff were all friendly.

Food excellent. Good choice for all meals . Not too many to choose from but tasty fresh food . Staff very friendly working really hard . Reception staff wonderful explained everything. Stayed all in-inclusive . Such good value extra touch was a bingo ticket and a tram travel token included too . The bar area restaurant and seating clean and modern . Stayed in a standard twin room very basic but clean . Room too hot tho, there was a fan which helped a tad . Outdoor heated pool with sun loungers really good . Indoor pool , jacuzzi heated good too . There was a steam room and sauna which we used needs updating and a good clean to be honest . Due to school holidays seemed busy . Evening entertainment pretty good . Trams running every 15 mins outside the hotel easy to jump on and jump off wherever you want to go . Overall a good value hotel and a great place to stay . Will comeback sometime in the future .

We stay at the Doric most summers. Pros from this year's stay: Our room was spacious (2x double beds) Outdoor heated pool Indoor pool (although quite strong chemical odour) Food was good, big improvement on last time we were half board. Kids entertainment generally (first few days with new pair of hosts very good, however nights 3 and 4 were catered only to older kids and host was unhelpful and rude which was disappointing). Staff were helpful. Cons: Rooms very hot. Room on first floor was noisy due to entertainment downstairs. Lift is almost impossibly small and therefore busy. Room cleanliness could be better but not terrible.

Room was perfect for myself and 6 year old grandson very clean and everything we needed , staff work very hard and are very friendly, we went half board and I can honestly say its the best food I've ever had in a hotel ! The only criticism I had was the cleanliness of the indoor pool ( didn't use outdoor was to busy ) the surrounding area around the pool was very dirty and pool floor seemed very slippy like there was some kind of film on it

Great hotel I've stayed 100s of times over the years. My only criticism is I booked all inclusive because I was on a budget and they took 100 pound deposit from me I wasn't aware of upon booking. I left last Monday and it still hasn't hit my bank account yet

Great hotel , the all inclusive not really worth it , id advise the breakfast and dinner package for half the price . Was too far away from centre to come back for the light lunch, and the spirits were clearly watered down.

Had a nice stay. Food and staff were fantastic. Would highly recommended. And will definately return for another stay.

Great hotel, kids loved the swimming pool and we enjoyed a lovely lunch at the bar. Staff very helpful - ideal location directly across from the tram stop.

Hotel was clean, food was good. Staff were excellent. Rooms were ok but the beds were really uncomfortable. Spa and pool were good. Parking is a nightmare. Be careful driving into the parking lane, I damaged my car going through the entrance. Would definitely go back. Kids entertainment is 8 until 10 which I thought was a bit late for kids
