Our Butlers Monique and Andre went above and beyond. I do think the property is about a 3.5 star. Lacking staff and ran out of beverages. No where to sit at the beach or pool with an umbrella even as Diamond Club unless you are out by 6 am. Full by 6:30 am every day. I do not think I would go back to this particular resort.

We had a good experience at the Royalton Chic. -Staff at the front desk need to work on customer service and ways to respond to unforeseen circumstances. Anyone checking in should be made aware of a possible delay in room preparation rather than being told go tour the facility have lunch and return at 3pm and your room will be ready. Informing the customer that there maybe a delay would prepare those customers "mentally" , and prevents dissatisfaction and frustration. - The main buffet needs lighting and a variation in food choice as it was the same everyday. - The restaurants/food truck are lovely and adds a little change. Customers should be made aware uppn check-in that Pescari will be out of pocket/charged to room if you added credits. - The coffee shop was phenomenal and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. - The grounds are clean - This is the 1st hotel that i have been to with a Mosquito issue, we are on a island and i am aware that there will be Mosquitoes but the amount was overwhelming. The grounds are not sprayed as they should be. Walking through swarms of Mosquitoes daily was unpleasant. My room was also imgested with Mosquitoes. I spoke with others on the compound "friendly conversations" about where i was from so forth and so on but this topic of conversation came up. I was offered to spray my room but i honestly did not want to sleep in a room that was just sprayed with a chemical, not knowing how i would react.

The property itself was okay however it took almost two hours to get into a room… The staff was very friendly. The food took extra long at one of the onsite restaurants.. _(specifically at the steakhouse). The buffet food was not good… the selection of food was very limited and every time they had rice it was hard… however the rooms were a decent size.

Would Not Recommend – Disappointing Stay at Royalton CHIC Antigua Check-In Process: Our experience started off poorly. We arrived at 1 PM but weren’t able to check in until 7 PM—a frustrating six-hour wait. Despite providing our flight details in advance, our room was still not ready. What’s the point of asking for arrival times if the hotel doesn’t prepare accordingly? Customer Service & Staff Attitude: The majority of the staff were rude and had an attitude. Bartenders, servers, and even front desk employees acted like they were doing us a favor instead of providing hospitality. Management was nowhere to be seen, and there was no effort to ensure guests were happy. Dining Experience: • Olympus Restaurant: This is supposed to be an à la carte restaurant, but the food is the same as the buffet with very limited choices. Service was extremely slow—our group ordered three drinks, and it took over an hour for the last one to arrive. • Pescario Restaurant: This so-called seafood restaurant is a joke. Out of ten items on the menu, only four contain seafood. If you’re not a Diamond Club member, don’t even bother—it’s a waste of time and money. Food Quality & Variety: The food selection is very limited and repetitive. Every day, the same dishes appear across the buffet and restaurants, making meals boring and unmemorable. For starters our check-in was horrible. We arrived at the hotel at 1:00. Check-in was suppose to be 3:00. We waited 3 hours for the room with no explanation. Finally at 6:00 we got to the room. The room was clean and spacious. The overall property is new and well maintained. The grounds were beautiful. The beach was nice but there was hardly any food/beverage service and had to walk to the bar to get drinks. The buffets were decent and so were the restaurants. Our biggest complaint was the staff. Aside from a select few, the staff was rude and would give you attitude when asked for a drink at the bar. There is a coffee shop on site which was great and the staff there was generally pleasant. Overall, it was disappointing. We lost a whole day when we arrived and had to deal with rude staff at every turn. I would definitely go back to Antigua but would not stay at this hotel.

One day delay due to air Canada. Expedia was no help. Wrong room at check in. Butler was no help whatsoever. Beautiful view and very clean. Dinning was limited with outdoor seating and inside was loud and service was slow and unfriendly with most meals. Some service was good.

We were so nervous about this trip, there were a lot of mixed reviews. I'm happy we went, the resort is beautiful, it's small but not too small. We had zero issues with check-in. We did pay the extra money where we picked our room before we arrived. Even though we didn't get that exact room it was still on the same floor and building. The resort even refunded us our money without us asking. Our butlers (Zen and Sheresse) were amazing, checking in with us every morning and throughout the day to make sure we were ok. We were a part of a larger group and I honestly think we had the best ones. My sister who planned this entire trip heard from her butler like once. Luckily Zen also checked in with them and made sure they also had everything they needed. We had no issues with dinner reservations since our butlers booked them all. We were able to eat as a party of 8 during the entire stay. The food was good, our favorite was Vespa. The steakhouse was our least favorite. I can't say we ever went hungry. We were always able to find something to eat. The options were a bit limited but the quality was good. Drinks were always yummy, we mostly hung out at the diamond club pool or near the evening entertainment bar. The bartenders knew who we were and what we liked The beach was amazing as well, luckily we didn't any any issues with the seaweed! There is a small rocky patch when you first walk into the ocean but then it's nice sand. The rocks didn't hurt so no need for swim shoes!!

Overall our stainat the Royakton Chic was very good ! New resort needs time to grow, some of the staff was really good some staff were not so nice, Dining in some restaurants was not a great experience some were really good ! By far glad that we stayed in the DIAMOND CLUB ! Special thanks to Zen and Sherresse!

Some staff were great! Others weren’t so great. The dinner reservations were terrible. They said 2 days before but they’d all be gone 2 days before. Mediterranean restaurant had no good service and they ran out of mojitos and pina colados are the bars. Hunters was great and the spa was great

My husband and I stayed for 6 days in a DC ocean view room. We had a great experience! Our butler Rowan’s was great with what little requests we asked of him. Our room was cleaned and stocked with fresh towels, snacks and beverages on our fridge daily. We celebrated my birthday and they went above and beyond in our room and dinner to accommodate. One night they hosted an event at Pescari that was for Expedia & Marriott guests and it was a great cocktail hour meeting management staff and winning prizes. The spa was amazing, I highly recommend Kenneth & Angela. Ignore the bad reviews as we ran into people on the resort who left a negative review, and found they were just the negative type who have nothing good to say. We had a great experience with nothing bad to report. We would book again in a heartbeat.

Very fun activity staff, food was very good especially for an all inclusive, many restaurant choices, beautiful resort, amazing beach, beautiful ocean and views, very friendly staff. Beach was easy to walk to find the floating tiki bar which was tons of fun! Housekeeping was awesome. Sometimes the service was a bit slow, many bars ran out of alcohol or mixers regularly, and reservations are impossible on the app. Stocking of mini fridge left a lot to be desired until we talked to housekeeper and she worked with stocker and all was good after that. We did find a staff member that helped make our reservations which worked great!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Don’t ignore the bad reviews like we did thinking it can’t be that bad, well it is! There are so many negative aspects of this resort it’s hard thinking of anything positive. The staff is rude and look bothered when you ask them something. IF you can get into one of the restaurants (big IF) they are so slow and run out of food. The staff has no sense of urgency at all so aspect to be waiting a lot. They run out of food, drinks, straws, towels, etc and don’t offer any alternative or try to get you what you want. Not to mention the food is horrible, the buffet is so tiny and full of vegetables even for breakfast? Didn’t know this was a vegetarian resort. To top it all off the staff lost our luggage on the way out. It was extremely stressful trying to find out where our bags were without trying not to miss our flight. You would think we could trust the hotel with our items but apparently not since someone grabbed our luggage into a different taxi. To make it even better the staff were trying to figure out where it went and we’re not giving us any updates, i asked to speak to a manager and he had the audacity to give me an attitude. please please don’t stay here it was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

The staff was very hospitable and the hotel property was very nice and impeccably clean the dining options were limited. They have 6 restaurants and we had a difficult time getting a reservation in any of them. The one restaurant we were able to dine at the quality and quantity of the food was poor. They seem to run out of food very quickly. The hotel itself is beautiful but unfortunately not sure if I would return. The purpose I’ve been all inclusive is not to have to dine outside of your hotel as much as we had to .

The facility was great, staff very friendly. They kept running out of draft beer and liquor and would not get more. Then they wanted to charge you for any alternative. We paid for and all inclusive. And it was sometimes difficult to get food when the buffet was closed. Buffet and the one restaurant we went to were great but the restaurants were difficult to get reservations at. We only were able to get 1 reservation and we were there for 6 days
