We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site The location is also very convenient for Chester city centre and also to nearby Hoole village, where there are 5 or 6 pubs, 4 or 5 restaurants, plus a variety of shops and a express supermarket. The only adverse comment, was very minor, a lack of a non slip mat in the shower. We actually used one of the hand towels.

I stayed in one of the Court Yard rooms which was nicely tucked away from the main areas. The room was beautifully set out with great facilities, including fridge & microwave. The bed was very comfortable & en suite clean. The only negative was the wait to get into the dining room for breakfast , but an extension is being built to provide a larger dining area in the future.

We had a lovely 2 night stay, the room we stayed in was a lot nicer than the pictures on the website it was really modern. Breakfast was lovely but the conservatory you sat in to dine was quite dated. Easy to find a parking space and loads of lovely restaurants on Faulkner Street which is less than 5 minutes walk away.

Great little bed-and-breakfast. A short walk Into Chester, and close to Faulkner St, where you can grab food and a drink without the city prices. Staff were wonderful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was well presented. It was a buffet style with eggs made to order. We will definitely be back!

The room had a very strong cigar smell to the point it impregnated all my clothes and suitcase. You could still smell it after several hours that I checked out. I got home in the end of the day and my house got smelly as well. This is not a pleasant experience for non smokers like myself.

Great B&B. Stay in a few places when I visit the UK and this is the best. Reasonably priced, good parking, comfortable rooms, great location and friendly/helpful staff
