A magical quiet location that we returned to after our 1st visit 8 years ago. We loved the new pool, bar and restaurant. The staff are amazing while they seemed overwhelmed with the volume of work.

I know it’s off season, but it’s so quiet here. Sitting under a covered porch, late afternoon, watching and listening to birds, in the background you can hear a rooster, the clanking of bells from cattle in a nearby field, all taking place in a light rain. One of us mentioned the WIFI was a little weak, we looked at each other and shrugged. Didn’t come here for WIFI. The breakfast was very good, and everyone has a smile on their face. There’s a rock monolith within walking distance, and the castle is a five minute drive. Vineyards, olive trees,…honestly, paradise. In our case we left the window in our front door open, to access WIFI. A minor inconvenience. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. We slept great, and after two nights, we were sorry to leave. God, I love this country.

Lovely little hideaway in the countryside. Very peaceful and rustic surroundings yet a very modern resort.

The pool and pool area was beautiful with pool furniture and much needed shade !!

Nice location

This was the first time in my longish life that staff delivered me a hot water bottle at bed time. Unnecessary, but a very considerate touch!

Amazing ! Great people, nice location and very good food ( we had breakfast and super). We stayed 2 nights and we were sad to leave. We will get back for sure. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful place! Quiet, peaceful and a comfortable place to relax. The Staff is super nice and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and full of options. Great stay :)

Great little hotel. The room was freezing (mid february), heating never could warm the place and it had a strong mildew stench to it. Otherwise, close to the historical Monsaraz, nice breakfast, great staff.

Overall a nice property with a lovely garden. However, the price was quite high compared to the quality and standard provided. Service was lovely though.

This is a beautiful place to stay, just a few minutes out of Monsaraz. We stayed there at the end of our two week trip around Portugal and Spain and it was the perfect place to relax and explore the little town. The staff are friendly and the breakfast spread is amazing. Would recommend.

Exterior bonito e acolhedor. Quarto bem decorado, espaçoso e confortável. Boa cama e bom duche. Funcionários simpaticos. Bom pequeno almoço. Bem localizado, perto do Alqueva. Jantamos no restaurante do alojamento, que deixou a desejar: ementa muito reduzida e a comida estava salgada e seca.

Foi muito boa, funcionarios muito simpaticos, sempre diponiveis para ajudar em qualquer questão. Otimo para descansar.
