Lovely rooms, stylishly appointed. Felt luxurious. Lovely breakfast and dinner in the adjacent restaurant. Staff all lovely. My only gripe was no fridge in the room but everything else was top notch.

I just love staying in the Silken Thomas, it has evertything and more than would be expected for the price range ! From checking in to checking out its top class. Special mention of Beata the Accommodation Manager, she makes everyone so well and keep such high standards, she is a wonderful asset to the Silken Thomas. I love staying there and often use it as a base, even for Dublin. I look forward to returning. The range of food is always great with very fast service.

The hotel is excellent and i have used it many times in the past and will continue to do so in the future. The only thing that caused me a bit of confusion was on my credit card statement it was listed as cloudbed and no mention of the hotel name which caused a slight issue trying to find out what the payment was for..

This is our second stay at Silken Thomas and we absolutely LOVE the hotel. The owner is always very welcoming and goes out of her way to accomodate us and let us know of events going on. We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone.

A very comfortable room located in centre of the town so very convenient. Also provided free parking.

Enjoyed our stay, staff were very friendly and room very clean. Only one small problem was my wife is celiac and the food was very limited for her. We had to go into Newbridge for food each night.

When we first checked in our room was supposed to be on the 2nd floor, but last minute changes put us on the main floor in the "Kate Room" which happens to be our granddaughter's name...needless to say, we were very touched by this. The room was fabulous.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. Restaurant and bar areas were great. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. Walking distance to the shopping outlet. Secure parking Food excellent. Room spacious and bathroom had rituals which was a lovely touch. Staff especially the manager were so helpful

Pedestrian access to the Postmasters House from the car park required crossing a busy street without a signaled crosswalk. In fairness to the establishment, the entire center of Kildare town could use a upgrade to make pedestrian safety more of a priority.
