After a rocky start with our booking through Expedia, we found this motel to be a very good place to stay. The room was basic but very clean, and the bed was comfortable. It appeared to have been recently refreshed, with a new fridge, kettle, and iron. Snacks and drinks were available for purchase, and the complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits were of good quality. The grounds and gardens were well-maintained. The motel is conveniently located just off the highway, close to the Mt Pleasant Shopping Centre and tavern. While there was some highway noise, it was not significant enough to detract from our stay. Although the office was closed when we arrived, a quick phone call to the owners provided access to a lockbox and our room key. Payment was completed later without any issues, and the process was smooth and straightforward. A notice in our room encouraged guests to book directly with the motel rather than through third-party booking platforms, which retain a portion of the booking fee. Based on our experience, I would recommend doing so. Although our contact with the owner-operators was minimal, all interactions were professional, friendly, and helpful. Overall, this was a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located motel that represented good value for money.

Location and pet friendly

Close to Mt Pleasant shopping centre. Cosy rooms, close to highway but not noisy. Would definately book again.

The motel is handy to shop and beaches

Entrance to the motel was step so if you have a small car use the driveway to the left as you won't scrape you car. Watch the awning roof height as my roof rack 2m high almost touch the structure.

Hostess Shelly was nice. But for the price, we expected the standard of the room to be of better quality - the furniture and fixtures certainly needed some updating and renovation.

Enjoyed our stay only thing for us was parking we found with a large 4WD vehicle the parking was a little tight but we managed otherwise everything was definitely worth staying staff fantastic was offered an upgrade to a bigger room but we were happy with the one we had
