While planning to explore River Murray Towns on my way back to Adelaide from Sydney, Echuca was an ideal place to start. Being in the main centre of the city bordered by the Murray and Campaspe Rivers, Campaspe Lodge was ideal. Being at the back of the Echuca Hotel, the staff pre-warned about music and chatter, but being mid week and in a room towards the river, this was not a problem. Parking was easy as I found a place on the street next to the hotel for my large van, which the staff assured me would be fine. The room was comfortable and spacious. well laid out with all the amenities you would expect in rural accommodation. Being in the centre of town, the area was quite vibrant and safe to walk around,

Staff were lovely. Room was clean and bed was big and comfortable.

Great value for money in a central location, we didn't use our car for four days as everything was at our doorstep. We had a first-floor room, and the view across the Campaspe River was beautiful to wake up to each day.

The parking felt very safe and I am an 84yr old travelling alone. I was upgraded to room 3 as soon as I arrived and the receptionist Carmen was very friendly and most helpful. I ordered dinner in my room from the hotel as Carmen told me I could do that. I was also told that there was event being held in the hotel on Friday night but I found the room quite insulated from any noise. (I don't mind happy noise anyway.) The lovely staff, especially Margaret, were so friendly and Margaret helped me to find my way to the Resort where my Granddaughter was being married. All in all my stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend the Lodge to anyone. Thank you for the care and kindness I received. Hope I can come back soon. Best wishes, Wilma

Well positioned in the heritage area of Echuca. Great vibe at the Echuca Hotel. Live music at night might annoy some but we loved hearing it from our room. Fabulous menu at the hotel, including lots of GF options. Great online help from accom manager when we wanted to add a day. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic location central to many eateries and coffee shops. Quiet spot with a lovely outlook. Safe off street parking. Room was clean and comfortable with a spacious bathroom and useful kitchen nook. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Everything was wonderful Great location and beautiful views from unit

Reception when checking in was good. After hours for any concerns there was no number. For example the boys who partied until 330am in the unit below to us was disappointing.

Accomodation is tired. Close to Echuca Wharf and shops. At the rear of a pub which keeps music going til 10pm and was woken by an industrial blower cleaning pub carpark.

Modern, spacious clean room. Very comfortable bed with an absolutely amazing view. Great meals delivered to our room. We’ll be back.

Spotless, great spot

Great location, quiet and clean. Great water pressure in the shower, decent bed and the 10% discount at Echuca Hotel is a nice bonus. Will stay here again.

Fabulous! Great location overlooking the river. Walking distance to all Echuca has to offer. A lovely balcony to relax on. Room was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable, toiletries smelt amazing. Won’t hesitate to recommend.

Plenty of shops and restaurants close by and the port is only 140meters away. There is plenty of parking at the accommodation and the meals at the pub were excellent, even though I found the beer a bit expensive at $11.50 a schooner.

Amazing place

Checkin quick & easy. Great location & clean accomm. Pricing on drinks varied on who served you and the noise from adjoining rooms was unbearable. Room 11 (supposed to be quiet), but drunk neighbours in @ 4am talking loudly to 5.30am, noise of TV’s and band from Shamrock not good. Rooms need soundproofing.
