The TV sounds wasn't working and the bed was too soft and uncomfortable

The unit/cabin that we were in was dusty, mold in the bathroom. The cutlery was not clean. There was a split in the panelling of the wall and you could see outside. The whole overall feeling was very unkepted and not maintained.

The cleanliness of the room was not good. We had no hot water for the 2 nights we stayed there. Wifi wouldn't connect.

Good sized cabin for the cost - fairly basic but okay

I have stayed there MANY nights in the past, but with my last night I spent there I had NO sleep because of a palm tree's branch scraping on the corrugated iron roof sheet throughout the night. I was SO tired and disappointed the next morning.

The midges

This place is just awful. We chose to forfeit our deposit and leave without staying. Look elsewhere.

Away from my familys

Cabin was absolutely filthy, could not walk barefoot on the floor, curtains and fan were covered in dust. No antena connection on TV but remedied on complaint. Cabin had previously had the door lock forced and it had never been fixed properly. Once you put the key in and locked the door you could not get the key out unless you happened to wiggle it into the right spot. Owner berated us for not reporting it the day before when we first moved in, ( we were in a hurry to attend a wedding), the ensemble bed base was collapsed in the middle and we both rolled into the middle of the bed. It has the potential to be a very nice park and the cabin would have been excellent with proper cleaning and maintenance and the addition of security screens. Very poor value not worth the $97 per night. Would not patronise again while under current management and would inspect for cleanliness before paying. Would not recommend to anyone as there is better value elsewhere in Mackay. Why did we book in there? We needed a checkin time earlier than 2pm and the motels we rang would not guarantee an earlier checkin.

Friendly, helpful office staff

Room was meant to sleep 4. The 4th bed was a half size bunk and was not made up when arrived. Had to see reception for sheets. Bathroom door and shower door did not close. Room was meant to be self contained however no bowls available. Smelt funny. Tv didn’t work. They were helpful in finding a parking space for our van that we weee not using.

Wasn't the easiest place to find! Gps took me to the wrong location initially But persevered and was a comfortable night spent in the park

Great cabin, great location, spacious, and comfortable.

The place was quite run down. The pictures impied there would be washing facilities inside the villa however had to use paid laundry facilities in the complex. When collecting the keys, had to pay an additional $4 for credit card fees that were unexpected. The bowls and plates had cockroach poo on them and had to be washed before use.

It’s such an old and dated caravan park and isn’t even worth $97 a night which ends up being $99 (that’s the cheapest room due to CC charges). There was still dirt on the floor inside my cabin. Lots of things falling apart or on their last legs. Water was dripping underneath the kitchen cupboard from sink into a large saucepan which was already half full of water. The toilet roll holder was hanging sideways by 1 screw. What really annoyed me was the heating selection on the air conditioner didn’t work and being winter , I froze all night & not even the 2 blankets kept me warm. The soap was so small and thin it hardly washed you all over for 1 shower. It was such a joke, and I’m trying to get my money back from Hotels.com or part there of. Please avoid this place because it’s certainly not worth a cent that they are asking for per night.
