I booked a room last minute for a business trip (booking made at 9pm night before). The booking was duplicated in error (I clicked on booking twice as I thought it hadn’t been received) and I was charged twice. I arrived late and there was no one on reception so I explained the error in the morning but the owner refused to refund me for the extra room which he knows I didn’t use. He said that the room could have been sold to someone else even though I booked on the night before! I will not use this hotel again

Great place, staff, amenities, and free parking. Only complaint was the restaurant was quite expensive for anything.

Hotel location is wonderful so is the building itself. Loved staying there. Staff didn't seem too friendly and didn't see them smile once. Didn't feel welcomed by them. But other than that everything was good.

Enjoyed our stay. Very helpful with 18 month old. Very clean and coping well with difficult virus situation

We enjoyed our overnight stop at this hotel. The hotel was easy to find, and has a large car parking area. The grounds are well kept, with trees in every direction. Check in was quick, and we received a good welcome. We stayed in room 12. The room is large, with windows on two sides. So it is quite bright inside. The bed was firm and comfy. What struck us was the exceptional cleanliness. Breakfast was fine. Help yourself buffet. We were more than happy with what was provided. The hotel is a good vase for visiting the surrounding area. We would stay again, and would recommend the hotel.

Nice room, though a bit warm and stuffy. My friend and I also had a few insect bites after our stay. Bed really comfy and great choice at breakfast

This is a beautiful hotel at the base of the Swiss Alps, the rooms are spacious and the views are spectacular! The staff speaks English very well amd they go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

The hotel was totally awesome. It is near and the location is very great for relaxation.

After reading all the wonderful reviews I was very much looking for my stay. Could of not been more disappointed. As a frequent business traveller I consider this my worst choice. The first night I was eaten by bed bugs leaving me with more then 20 bites. No need to mention a sleepless night. The next day I was moved to another room which was ok , but the damage was already done so I could not sleep again. I was excited to try the restaurant as well after the reviews, but had nothing but an average pub food. The Bistro across the road was better by miles.

I was on the popular road trip from Amsterdam to Paris and wanted to get a taste of a real local European neighborhood that was also not out of the way. This place was authentic and gave me the perfect experience I was looking for. And breakfast was delicious!
