there was no receptionist who speak english. young kids covered front. only accept cash, no credit card. communicated with cell phone translate app. bathroom has mildew and strong mildew smell.

perfect location close to most of the tour agencies and pick-up/off area, restaurants. friendly ,helpful staff. a heater in the room would be nicer.

Staffs and the location were good, but they don’t speak English. And our room didn’t have an air conditioner and we couldn’t get enough hot water. It was so cold...

Very simple and inexpensive hotel. I wish I had spent a little more to be in something a little more comfortable, but overall recommend for its low price.

Rudest staff I’ve ever encountered in my life. Extremely unimpressed. Do not stay here ever! Even if you are desperate.

Toilet flushing did not work. We used toilet at 1st floor, but they charged even guest. Room is too narrow to open suitcase.

Since nothing in area is a Westin or Marriott, it is hard to rank comparatively. We were supposed to arrive very late on the train and this location is one block from station. We wanted a bed to sleep in and they delivered. The town itself is filled with trash in the streets and stray dogs, so when the hostel staff stayed up for our arrival at midnight, it was a pleasant occurrence. They have delivered on everything we asked for, except a lack of towels for hot shower in morning and building not heated. Lots of blankets for a warm bed.

After a three day tour was a good option with a very hot shower! However the shower curtain did not do much which left the bathroom floor extremely flooded. Some stains on curtain and walls but good value and fine for a night. Staff very nice and let us keep our bags until evening.

Got bedbug after staying a night there. Staffs don’t speak English. Hot shower is available for the limited time. But the location is convenient for tours.

Cheap Hostel not the best but not the worst either, well located near tour offices for trip to the salt falts!

Our room is by the street. The dogs barked most of the night. People lived around my room came back around 11:30pm and shouted, sang songs and turned the music very loud until 2:00 am. I finally went sleeping then woke up by dogs barking. Except noise, everything else is great. Especially its breakfast is excellent, its hot shower made us really relaxed in such a freezing city (Uyuni in July)!

Hot shower, reasonable wifi, great free breakfast, close to tour agencies, heater at night. Downsides: rock hard bed, a little rundown, thin curtains.

Don't expect luxury, but it's well located in the center of Uyuni, cheap, clean enough, hot shower and has a good wifi for Uyuni's average. And staff is nice. Would stay here again.

The two gentlemen that run the apartment complex are great and helpful. The place very clean and roomy.

Oro blanco was a typical South American Hostel, though a little expensive for what you get but all of Uyuni is expensive. The internet didn't work the whole time we were there, although we were told the whole town had a problem we managed to get decent internet just across the road at a restaurant. Breakfast was fine, typical like all places. Nothing fancy about the place but for a night there really isn't too many problems.

Well located little place. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic hotel with cafe however cafe not on full use when we stayed. They printed our tour tickets for free which was much appreciated.

Good value place with a fabulous breaky! Room is cozy but fine for three people. Staff were very helpful.

It's a simple hostel in Uyuni. the hostel provides all basic necessity and a plus point for hot breakfast in the morning!

Great location, helpful staff, room clean. Sweet to have a chocolate on your bed and free bottle of water. Be prepared the wifi not so stable and water was not hot enough to shower.

We stayed at Oro Blanco the night before and after our salt flat excursion. Hostal is right next to the train station and you are welcomed to your room with a chocolate and water bottle. Great breakfast with a variety of fruits, breads, eggs, coffee, and tea. Staff was incredible. Jose at the front desk was extremely helpful from booking a taxi, exchanging money, and bringing us tea after our excursion to help with the altitude. Please note that while the staff is great the rooms are nothing to rave about and not everything works consistently (this is more of a reality of life in Uyuni than a reflection of the Hostal). But if you need to spend a night before or after your salt flat tour I would recommend this Hostal just based on the staff.
