This lodge offers a very nice stay in an isolated place. The scenery is beautiful, our room was VERY spacious, there's a coffee machine, an area to hang outdoor clothing, the laundry facilities include a soap dispenser - very nice touch. The lobby is a cute as the pictures. The restaurant is the only one around, we had dinner there, it wasn't gourmet but hot and filling. The staff are accommodating and friendly both at the lobby and the restaurant. The beds were adequate but not luxurious. This is a nice camping/cabin/lodge facility on spacious grounds. I would stay again.

It's always great to stay at Manning Park Resort. We as a family of 4 loved it there. The staffs are helpful and nice. The place is little old and outdated but well-maintained.

Rooms are a good size and clean. Shower worked well with hot water. No AC and our room looked out onto the main road so we could not open the window. Pool was clean and open at 8am for a morning swim. Food very good in the bar.

Would stay again! We had never stayed there before thinking it would be really expensive but it was affordable for the two of us. We enjoyed the hot tub and the comfortable, quiet room. There is a restaurant on site but we did not go. P.S. The saltwater hot tub could’ve been warmer my husband says.

Decent plain old room, a bit hot (no air conditioner) but had a fan in the room.

It’s an older property, no air con in the summer. Not fancy. Lots of EV chargers on site with both Tesla and BCHydro chargers. The biggest positive - the staff. Everyone very pleasant and friendly. Restaurants / Pub on site with good portions and tasty

Resort presents as old and rundown. Room was clean, easily accessible. Pub was great for dinner, great service and reasonable prices.

This as Resort felt more like a Ski Hostel.Beds were below average and no air conditioning which made it hard to sleep in the main lodge.

The king bed was comfortable, pillows too. I missed having a nightstand on my side of the bed. There was no alarm clock (or any clock). TV was nice, the sofa & armchairs comfortable. We loved the coffee, even though having real cream would definitely be a bonus (but I understand that it might be more difficult to stock). The bathroom was clean, we appreciated the toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap bar). Overall, all we needed :) We usually stay every year. The dinner at The Bear Den wasn't great, I've had better tasting Mac & Cheese from the frozen food section at a grocery store. The breakfast next morning, on the other hand - the BEST bruschetta eggs Benny I've ever had in my life! Such creamy hollandaise sauce, yummy.

Our stay was really enjoyable! Our suite was spacious and quiet, the lodge itself was really lovely. The highlights were hiking completely around Lightning Lake and then swimming in the resort's swimming pool afterwards! What a gift to life it is to be able to visit such incredible wilderness.
