Excellent resort, just make sure you reserve a spot for breakfast lunch and dinner as there are no other options in the area.

We enjoyed our trip with our dog. Enjoyed having the clear lake with non-motorized water equipment at your door step. There was plenty of fun things to do as well for the kids or just simply enjoying the view. Will go back again!

It is a cute little stay with a nice view nearby , however if you are not going around there for activities, do not just drive there to stay at the lodge, it is a long drive and not an easy one. Staff are nice and environment is friendly, however there is no phone signal only wifi available.

It was breathtaking!

We loved our stay at the Tyax. We camped in our tent there first. The amenities for camping were hot showers and very clean bathrooms. They treated us like every other guest and we were allowed to use almost all the facilities. We stayed two nights at the end of our hiking trip. The room was large and the beds very comfortable. We loved the food! They served really generous portions- you get what you pay for, and it was delicious. The service was also excellent from every staff memeber. We will return.

Great staff, location, cleanliness and food. 10/10

The lodge itself is good and staff are very warm and friendly. However, the access to/from lodge are terrible, one of only 2 roads was closed due to mudslide, it was horrible and finally we managed to get out from there. Be prepared for very bad gravel road for a pretty long period of time.

Great setting. Quiet. Peaceful. Bit far away to travel to. Good for outdoor activities like hiking, biking, kayaking on the lake. Not much else to do in surrounding area. Heliskiing and glacier viewing available for charter.

It is a gem that no one should miss. Outstanding facilities and staff who are friendly, polite, helpful and attentive. Do as much or as little as you want. A world class facility with guests from all over the world.

Lovely lodge with spacious rooms. It was a pleasant surprise that canoe, kayak, and paddle boards were included with the stay.

Location and staff were amazing. Staff were extremely attentive. The location is out of this world. A must see.

Clean and nice

We love Tyax and have stayed there before. Unfortunately due to COVID and equipment needing to be replaced due to lack of use the lodge was understaffed, the hot tub was not working and the spa was not open.

Outstanding staff; very friendly and courteous. Spectacular scenery surrounds the Lodge and the area. The Lodge has had a reno and it was done well. Extremely limited use of plastic; for example, bathroom soaps are in pump dispenser bottles. Improvements could be made for those with mobility issues (walk-in showers and grip bars) but most of the patrons are fit and agile.

Beautiful property. Really helpful, pleasant staff. Very nice rooms. Awesome amenities, wish I could have stayed longer!

Great hotel in a stunning setting in the mountains. Well worth the effort to travel to and the location is breath taking. Lots to do, horse riding, hiking or biking. Lake with canoes and paddle boarding.

Tayx was amazing, the staff and service are excellent. The food could use more choices, but is fine for a short stay. We had a problem with our food taking too long one evening, but our server, came to us and apologized before we got upset, and gave us a complementary appetizer and drinks to hold till our dinner arrived. Everybody makes mistakes but she took the initiative, and made things right. In my opinion thats all you can ask for. Kudos to Amy.

Tyax Resort is an amazing lodge offering access to unbelievable mountain biking, hiking and sight seeing. The lodge itself is on a beautiful lake with lots of water toys to use. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I highly recommend Tyax if you want a really unique wilderness experience. Just be aware that the roads to get to the lodge are hard on your vehicle and I would recommend a SUV/Truck. You can also float plane in...
