Wonderful staff, cozy room, beautiful view!

Gorgeous property. Staff was kind and welcoming. Food was great!

The location of this property makes it a perfect space to relax and enjoy the scenery. We appreciated the ocean view and the gorgeous sunset both dinner and breakfast the next day were delicious and the portions were generous. all of the staff we encountered were dedicated to making our stay memorable.

The room door had 1cm cap between door and door frame (no privacy). The first feeling entering was that we were disturbing them. First communication was give me your credit card, not showing but taking. In leaving was very unfriendly, no have a good day, how was your stay, please come again….. so we don‘t come again.

What a great find! Beautiful scenery, comfortable room, welcoming staff, yummy food, and owners who go to the extreme to make sure you feel at home and are comfortable. So glad I found this place.

The pictures on the site do not do this location justice. The unique building and gardens are beautiful, the food was fabulous and the staff wonderful. I will definitely stay here again!

This was incredibly beautiful

This was an excellent choice for us as we arrived late in the day as we came off the ferry. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was amazing

The ferry from Bar Harbor was cancelled so we lost our night at the Old Argyle Lodge.

Absolutely beautiful property. Comfortable, clean and lovely rooms. The Breakfast was outstanding - the best Eggs Benedict I have ever had -- and trust me I have had tons. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Room and bed was so comfortable. Room had AC but didn’t need it as good air flow with windows open. So so quiet. Only food option is onsite restaurant, which was “ok”.

Beautiful ocean view and sunset. Great porch to sit and watch the water with a nice glass of wine!

The view is gorgeous. Dining there is so convenient. The meals were wonderful and the service warm and friendly.

We loved the serenity of the location, the charm of the lodge itself and the delicious dinner.

It is a beautiful property. The room was really nice except the mattress was too soft and needs to be replaced. I knew that if I slept in the bed my back would be in bad shape the next day. I slept on the trundle bed which was really hard but a better option.
