Good: Great view, modern hotel. Great location, close to shopping and restaurants. Bad: Poor customer service. Front desk staff on the night shift are not helpful at all. There seems to be miscommunication between day shift staff and night shift staff. Also, there’s contruction in the building with loud drilling and hammering. Do not book here if you need to rest. The hotel will not compensate you.

We stayed for the 2026 F1 Grand Prix weekend. The location was fantastic, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and quick access to the REM light rail makes getting into Montreal a breeze. Free parking in the connected secure garage was a real plus. Everyone we encountered from the staff was warm and welcoming, and they really elevated our stay from good to genuinely memorable. The hotel management also deserves special credit for how thoughtfully they handled the race weekend. The welcome decorations in the lobby and the personalized greeting in our room added a fun, festive energy that made the whole experience feel special. We absolutely recommend this hotel.

Overall, the hotel building itself was nice and clean, but our stay did not fully meet expectations for what was supposed to be a higher-end hotel. The room was okay, but there was hair left behind from previous guests, and the mini fridge did not fit properly in its enclosure, so the door would not close unless we used two hands to push it in. The biggest concern was an unexpected $374 credit card charge after everything had already been paid for. For the price and reputation, we expected a smoother and cleaner experience.

The hotel overall was not too bad, but there were a few important issues worth mentioning. The location is inside a mall, which can be convenient, but it also means the parking is shared with the mall. Be prepared to park in the mall parking lot and walk to the hotel, as there is no dedicated private parking for guests. The main concern was cleanliness, specifically the carpet. While the room appeared clean at first glance, the carpet had a strong moldy smell as soon as you stepped onto the floor. I have allergies, and we had specifically booked an anti-allergy room, so this was very disappointing. The smell was constant and made it difficult for me to sleep, the nights were honestly a nightmare. Thankfully, we only stayed for three days, which made the situation manageable. However, due to the carpet condition and lack of proper allergy-friendly standards, I would be hesitant to stay here again.

This hotel is what you'd expect from an Alt style. No nonsense comfort. Somewhat sterile decore.

Clean Room

Very friendly accueil. Loved our room, good view, noise isolated and confortable. Very well situated, walking distance to many restaurants, and shopping. Also walking distance to cinema and shows Easy parking, right in Front of hotel and free, very rare now a days.

Clean room, courteous and helpful staff. The bathroom and room were top notch as expected from this group. The shower is better than the single shower head provided by many other hotels. Parking was convenient and free. Myvroom was serviced every day, unlike may other Hotels these days. All with a reasonable price undercutting many larger chains. Breakfast bluffet was better than the standard choice and recommended. Within walking distance of many stores, cinema and restaurants. A little walk and you have access to the rail link direct to downtown Montreal, running 24 h a day.

Incredibly nice staff. Basic room, odd layout of bathroom and sink. Rooms not the cleanest but clean enough. Property had neighboring buldings doing construction that they did not disclose prior to stay.

Overall, the hotel is clean and comfortable, and the stay was generally pleasant. However, there are two points that impacted the experience. At check-in, the front desk staff initially charged an amount that was about $500 higher than my booking price, without any explanation. When I asked about it, she said it was for a deposit, but the deposit should only have been $250. She then corrected the amount to the room rate plus a $250 deposit. However, she never explained why the initial amount was set so high, which was confusing. Her attitude was polite, but clearer communication upfront would have been appreciated. Another issue was the noise in the mornings. For several consecutive days after 7am, there was a noticeable drilling sound, possibly due to construction or renovation work nearby. While it didn’t wake me up, it disrupted what would otherwise be a quiet and relaxing morning. For those who enjoy a peaceful start to the day, the noise made it difficult to fully relax. There was no prior notice from the hotel, nor any information provided during check-in. Overall, with better communication and more consideration for guests, the experience could be even better.

We were there for 2 nights and the didn’t clean and refresh our room the second day… we were out from 9h00 in the morning, and get back at 19h00…. No bed refresh, no clean cups, glasses, towels… I had to return at the front desk to ask it done
