Clean but very dated room. Expected for such an old hotel. Great to have a microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Great to have WiFi in the room, although the TV was quite the process to figure out. Easier to just bring a laptop and stream yourself

Charming very old style hotel, lots of antiques and mementos, very nice front desk gentleman. Ocean views unfortunately partly blocked by ugly old factory, maybe just from the rooms in the part where I stayed. Old building but kept in excellent condition. Several pubs and restaurants within a short walk.

The Rodmay Hotel has potential: it is definetely a heritage building and has some beautiful furniture but there is a lot of work to be done. It was clean and quiet but: 1. it took a long time for the hot water to arrive. 2. we couldn't shut the bathroom door. 3. the bathroom sink was very tiny with no counter space 4. the air was a bit stuffy.

Interesting place with lots of nostalgia decor pieces. Very quiet and very comfortable. They accommodated us with adding an extra cot in the room that was in place when we arrived - very efficient!

The staff at check-in were friendly and super pleasant. Room was very clean and had been nicely warmed up for our arrival. Bed was comfortable with nice linens & towels. Lots of hot water. The hotel itself is old and has lots of history and character!

We liked the cleanliness, old antiqes and lay out. Very nice employees. I think the staff is pleasant and helpful. I think when people are booking they should ask if there is any elderly in there party because the rooms have many stairs to climb and no elevator. This is fair because I had a hard time getting to our room and my granddaughter had to make three trips with our belongings. Thats my only oncern for others. Otherwise it is an excellent place.

Upon check-in. Discovered. there s no elevator just had hip surgery, could not do stairs. Did not stay there. Had to find other accommodations for the night. This was not mentioned in the expedia app. That it was not handicap accessible. Hotel staff would have been happy to give me a refund but because I booked through the expedia app I was directed towards the expedia app and was assured, I would get a refund.

Friendly staff

No air-conditioning, springy bed, small. Last one available, so not too bad. It was quiet, very friendly check in.

The hotel has great character but no breakfast available due to location (can't get the staff). Feels like there are many empty rooms. Some areas blocked off. If you like heritage sites and genuine antique fixtures and fittings, you'll enjoy this hotel. I don't think it is haunted!
