Black scum around toilet bowl and bath tub drain blocked with hair. One sock sticking out from under bed. Refrigerator needed to be leveled before we dared put anything in it.How ever once room cleaned it was a perfect location and we enjoyed our stay.

Lake view was nice. Location is good access. Most disappointed about TV , remotes not working properly, no channel selection. Wi fi access codes as per instruction did not work.

We were passing through Penticton and booked the night at Spanish Villa Resort. We communicated online, including checking in, which worked just fine. The room as clean, bed comfy and the night was quiet. Everything we needed and the price was great. Would stay here again for sure.

Our room's Lakeview was excellent but many rooms have none. Everything was clean. We did not have a kitchen, did not expect one. We also had no hot water which I reported to management.

Property is under renovation. Pool not open under some sort of repair. So e of our linens appeared dirty or had stains on them.

It was fairly clean room was nice but tv didn’t work at all there were just phone numbers to call no one on desk when there were problems I left messages at all phones and no one responded there needs to have a person on front desk And or have someone respond to calls they didn’t offer discount for lack of service

The motel is old & a bit 'tired'. Saggy curtains etc, But the unit was clean. Towels & bedding very tidy & clean. Wrinkled pillowcases, but they were fresh & clean. Bed & pillows VERY comfortable. Deep bathtub was a bonus. It had definitely been updated. Both wine glasses were dirty, but all other glasses & coffee cups clean. Check-in was all done via text messaging/online. Room number & door code sent by text message. The room numbers were a little confusing at first and my door code didn't work the first couple times I tried it. Then I saw a 'check-mark' icon on one of the lower buttons & tried it after the code. Open Sesame. I did receive a personal phone call the next morning asking how everything was. That was a nice touch. I suggested my confusion with the room numbers & door code check-mark and the gal apologized that I was not sent the 'email' at check-in explaining those details. I guess the person 'checking' me in online & texting forget that step. It turned out alright for me. Parking in the courtyard was well lit & I felt safe getting into my room. The unit was quiet even though I was at the very front of the building facing the street. I slept soundly.

I was charged twice for the pet fee although I was told I would only have to pay once $300 for two weeks and cleaned room only once. Then I found a needle in my room at the top of the closet. Called multiple times daily adding so much stress saying I owe more money, wanted to charge twice, said I was quoted in US dollars when it clearly stated CAN dollars. Was never provided a real receipt. Was forced to deal with this booking app which was also a terrible experience. Shady. Feel like I’ve been scammed.

Check in was a disaster. There is nobody at the desk. I was looking around because I had already booked and paid for this through Expedia. Finally a guy comes out who is just staying there, said he is helping the owners. He was the only one on site. The was no record of me booking that he could see so he phoned the owners which also said they had no record of me booking. It was a good thing that I have the receipt on my phone which said the property owner has already received funds. Also the door locks didn't work very well as we have someone enter our room at 2:30 am.
