overall great, but noisy in the evening during hot days when keeping the windows open is a must due to lack of AC.

Walkable to shops andrestaurant. Staff friendly and helpful .Coffee and tea set up and free until 7 pm.

Excellent service and the rooms were just perfect. Breakfast had a lot of variety and there was extra attention paid for food allergies.

I've lost count of the number of times I've stayed here over the years; this was my first trip back since March 2020 and it was like I had never been away. It's a great hotel, in a great location with great service and they have picked up exactly where they left off before Covid. I'll be there next week again.

Very central location and more reasonably priced than other central hotels. The reception is not always open and there is no lift if you have heavy bags.

Service was really friendly and breakfast had a good selection of quality products.

Wonderful hotel in a wonderful town. Can walk from train station, easy walk to town center, restaurants and the river. Very clean with modern amenities. Outstanding breakfast with friendly chef.

We stayed in Solothurn because it was near friends we were visiting. The hotel is near the river and a car free downtown with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel is in a historic building and lacks an elevator and air conditioning. In some rooms the bathroom is down steps from the rest of the room. The staff is friendly and helpful and there is a nice breakfast buffet. The banhof and parking garage are nearby. If you want an authentic European hotel this hotel is very charming. If you're expecting a Holiday Inn it's not.

The hotel is small with a very friendly staff in a great location of the old city. Very good hotel value. Plenty in walking distance.

Just an excellent hotel, more a boutique hotel like, newly renovated or created, spotless as one would expect in Switzerland! Great people, merci

Short stay for official visit

This hotel is very well run by the owners. It is comfortable (even without an elevator) and has a great atmosphere. The common room with free coffee and tea all day and reasonably priced beer and wine is very welcome after a day of sightseeing. The rooms are of good size and the fitments, while a bit Spartan, are of good quality. The location is very central - adjacent to the old town and yet within easy walking distance of the train station and river Aare cruise stop. We will go back if ever in the area.

Personal super freundlich / Zimmer sauber / Wände sehr dünn, das man alles hört, was im Nebenzimmer abgeht ( sogar die Schritte). Boden mit alten Dielen sehr laut und sehr knarrig. Kein Lift. Frühstück war einfach, aber gut.

Ein fantastisches Hotel. Für mich hat alles gepasst. Super nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal. Es ist ein neu renoviertes altes Gebäude, mit charakteristischem Ausbau, liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück, mit Produkten aus der Region, ist frisch und lecker - ein guter Start in den Tag.

El check in fue muy bueno, aunque llegue un par de horas antes, tenian la habitación y me dejaron usarla, asi mismo al otro dia tenia salida muy temprano y me prepararon un lunchbox, no hay elevador. Lo mejor de todo es la ubicación, muy conveniente con todo cerca en Solothurn
