Cabin accommodation . Basic but everything you need , Friendly staff and very chilled. Large Onsen just over the suspension bridge or use the one at the cabins included in your stay .
Great place to stay along your route

This is quite a basic hut, but fine if you are in backpacking or camping mode. Upside is that it's close to the watarase onsen which was lovely, and a short bus drive from ukegawa trail head. Note that the check in is at the public bath next door,

This was a cabin with dining and kitchen area on one side and a sleeping area with tatami mats and futons in the other. The kitchen has all you need to make a meall but we didn’t bring any food with us. We only stayed one night but would come back and stay. There is a toilet in the room and went to the public onsen to bathe. The chicken yakatori place down the road is a must.

Great find while hiking the Kumano Kodo. Huge cabins, onsite onsen, little store. And economical. Our family of 4 loved it.
The profile page says that this cottage has shower. But, actually not. They only have a public hot spring where you have to shower with others without any privacy.
And the cottage don’t have bed. It’s Japanese traditional style of tatami
