Room was beautiful, super comfy bed. Very convenient to down town. I would recommend staying here anytime.

This hotel was a great stay! The breakfast was delicious and the staff was so welcoming. Very walkable to the Queen's campus location I had to visit.

We liked everything about the property EXCEPT !! they turned the heat off in the building about the middle of May and with the cold wet weather of later May when we were there , it was very cool in the room. They did offer a 50% reduction in our fee which was nice but would have preferred a warm room. I had to ASK ABOUT the heat to get the reduction. They did not offer it. Surely, the university that owns the hotel could afford to keep the heat on until the end of May after all this is Kingston on cold lake Ontario. I might suggest that they review the turn the heat off day and move it to June 1. They probably do the same thing in the fall but in reverse.

The building was lovely but it was the worst hotel experience that I have had- ever. The weather in the city was terrible and the hotel had NO HEAT. The temperature in my room (in May) was less than 15 degrees. We inquired at the front desk and were told that they were “trying” to fix it and that we would have heat the next day. No… it didn’t happen and, of course, we were not offered any compensation. I would never stay here again and strongly recommend avoiding this property.

Very welcoming, staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was a 10. Will definitely be back love your city.

Great hotel

I didn't like the fact of the heating. It was cold in our and our son's room. We were not offered a heater. Learned about the heater after a microwave was delivered to our room by maintenance and he offered a heater.

The history of the property was interesting. Searching for something other than positive, I noted that the branches of at least one tree were rubbing against the roof of the building and should be trimmed to avoid damage.

I enjoyed my stay during flag football Nationals. It was walkable distance to Richardson stadium which is the primary reason I booked it. Breakfast was decent. I was a bit disappointed that the restaurant served only breakfast. Staff was very pleasant and went out of their way to help me dry my blanket. It was a particularly rainy and cold weekend. I really appreciated the extra touch. It is a bit on the pricey side though. The hotel is very quiet. Overall I am very pleased with my stay.

Great breakfast included. Parking was safe and plentiful. Beautiful heritage property.

Nice place but needs to be updated (esp bathrooms). Window could not shut properly so whistling sound from wind in room all night.
