This motel has a rather odd policy which I have never encountered before. In addition to prepayment for the stay, they add a refundable $100 damage deposit. Upon returning the key at departure, they refunded this $100 via a credit to my Visa account.

I wasn’t the one staying. My son got stuck with nowhere to go. So, I tried to pay for him to stay there. The guy was going to take a payment over the phone and then randomly said no I had to be there. I offered to show him ID through the camera and everything. He let my son stay in -30 degree weather.

Felt very welcome although I got there at 10h a.m. I was i formed thay I could check-in now for only $20 extra. After driving for more than 20hrs this was really appreciated.

Excellent stay at the Rainbow! You can tell that the owners and staff take pride in this motel providing a friendly and welcoming check in. The rooms are a little dated but very clean and has all the regular amenities you would expect. Would be happy to stay here again!

Cheap, older, clean. Beds were fine. No coffee in room Ojs literally at end of property and close to hwy

There was no kettle, coffee maker or toaster. No cups, teas or coffees. Our first night we were really cold because the heater didn't work but it was fixed in the morning so we were warm the next day. There was a lot of traffic noise as well as hearing the neighbours arguing at 6.15 am wasn't very good.

Thin walls. They said no to me parking in back with trailer but then let someone else with tr park in back

The room was not very clean, chairs were soiled and bedding was old and sheets were thin. Travelling with a small dog and was charged $39.00 as a pet fee! 😲 Most hotels only charge $20 or $25! The rooms need to be updated. Definitely will not stay there again!

They took the 100$ deposit. They said they will take $20 from deposit coz there is a missing towel. And they didn’t even return anything from deposit. Very rude old guy at reception
