Cute place and really close to the airport. The area around had lots of shops and food. Great host!

Clean and comfy room but had trouble finding the place. No name on the outside. No front desk either. Since I didn’t have Wi-Fi, I was not able to receive codes for entry.

The hotel owner and place is good. But we had a terrible experience if the lifetime. We would not recommned to book any hotel around this area. Our car was broken in and multiple cars were attempted theft that night. Its not a safe area. We are still battling with enterprise service as they charged us 3500$ for car damage. This area is certainly not safe and the owner and other people wont tell you about this. There is no parking in this hotel. Better book a hotel with parking as San Jose is not a safe place. As soon as we landed in costa rica within 6 hours we were robbed. So do not prefer this area.

the hotel is very cozy, the vibe is so nice but personally I faced two problems first I really want to have a TV in my room second the breakfast style is nice in general and fixable, but the options are so limited only eggs no cheese or vegetables and for the bread only butter no jam or any type of cheese.

Self service breakfast available all the time. Great for early departure to the airport. Prompt transfer to the airport very early in the morning. Clean and tidy , compact room but large lounge area and kitchen. Didn't go out so unsure of quality of local amenities but there is a supermarket and eating places near by. Nice and quiet except for the odd motorbike. A good inexpensive place to stay when useing the airport.

Affordable and has a lot of character. Could be better, but worth staying in if you find yourself in Alajuela.

Cute little place in the heart of Alejuela, walking distance to many things, and a 10 min drive to the airport. Staff was communicative and check in was easy. The room was cute and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Good AC, hot water, and great water pressure in the shower. Even basics to eat in the shared kitchen.

Loved the decor and personal touch of autographing the walls. Other guests woke me at 6 am when they got up but I am a light sleeper so that can’t be helped. Over all lovely welcoming first impression of Costs Rica

We stayed the night before our flight back to the Uk and went out for something to eat locally. Very comfortable room and garden area we could relax in. The host was very accommodating and collected us when we dropped our hire car off and dropped us back at the airport for our flight for $5 in the evening and $10 for an early morning transfer which we thought was very reasonable

Small simple hotel with about six rooms. We definitely stay there again, an economical option. They provide eggs and fruit and toast for you to make your own breakfast. They also pick you up and drop you off at the airport for five dollars.

A small, spartan room w/bath. Very clean. Make your own breakfast was just fine. Very reasonable cost to pick us up at airport. Also enjoyed cost effective transportation to our car rental company. This place is good for a quick stay in the city.

Great location. Estaban and his mom were fantastic. Perfect place near the airport.

Stayed here after my flight and it was great, I recommend it for a nights sleep before you travel the rest of Costa Rica. Host was amazing and accommodating and walls of autographs from previous travellers was a super cool thing thing to see and write on !

It was great that Estaban picked us up at the airport after flying all night and we could get into our room. Lovely area to explore for a day.

We stay here twice a year. It’s quiet. It has everything you need. The beds are comfy. Food, pharmacy & Mini Marts in walking distance. We always book here as soon as we get flights. They book quick!

Great place to stay because the owners were very responsive. Picked me up at 1:00 am in the morning. Very good about explaining how the property and breakfast worked . Simple, but very satisfactory!!

An oasis in the midst of a noisy city.

Reasonable price for a short stay to catch an early morning flight. Property doesn’t look like much from the outside (probably for the better to keep it less conspicuous), but opens up and expands within. I was immediately greeted by staff who gave me useful info. Quite pleasant and friendly to chat with, could speak English well (though I spoke in Spanish). I had reserved a car ride to the airport the following morning 4:45 am. They were available on the dot (actually the truck was stored within the residence), pleasant ride and conversation. The driver had gone to college in London… pura vida. Price was no longer $5 but $10 usd. Still, this was cheaper than the going rate for an uber.. room was clean with ac available. Shower was fine with responsive on demand hot water. Overall I recommend. Will stay again if given the opportunity
