It has a great view of the lake, and its gardens are beautiful. The room where I stayed was mostly or completely made of real materials. I loved it. Staff was amicable, and I spent a great time at the property. I am looking forward to go back to Santa Maria Resort.

Very clean and quiet and beautiful. We stayed in the room with a king size bed and the only negative was no comfortable sitting area other than the terrace. There was plenty of room for a pair of chairs and table.

It was our third stay at this hotel, and we find it a perfect place for a romantic getaway. The rooms are comfortable, the gardens lovely, the food in the restaurant excellent, and everything wonderful for a relaxing visit. We will be going again. The only downside of our visit this time was a confusing new policy of requiring a cash deposit to keep a tab open for charging food at the restaurant to our room. This we did, and were assured that if the charges exceeding our deposit, that we could simply pay the difference at check-out. Thus we were very surprised by a knock on our door at a very inopportune moment in the evening that we needed to pay for our dinner because the charge exceeded the deposit. This was the only downside of our visit, and because of what appears to us as a poorly thought and executed new policy by management. In spite of that, it was a lovely way to spend Valentine's Day for the two of us.

Gorgeous grounds, good food, heated swimming pool and spacious cabins. Love the proximity to the lake.

They gave us a dirty cabin. There was even rat poo in one of the beds.

The hotel has the best view of the lagoon, green areas are beautiful. Very nice 👍

Beautiful property to Relax, great food !

Property, staff and food were superb (7-8 April 2022). Orbit’s property description of Hotel, etc needs updating It said no sheets ( bring ur own), it had nice sheets and bedding. Said toiletries, no such items. Overall a wonderful setting, with beautiful pool, grounds and proximity and ocean view. Front desk personnel seemed overwhelmed with just two guests at ck in counter and phones ringing. It also said no on-site pkg, which it did. Maybe it meant no covered pkg, which would have been correct. Overall a wonderful experience.

The hotel is secluded, quiet and well kept. The restaurant at the edge of the water is perfect for dining or having drinks. The staff was friendly and professional

The cabin with the view the pool was very relaxing

It’s a beautiful place to stay and relax. Unfortunately, they neglected to tell us that both the pool and the restaurant were being remodeled. So listening to the construction noise was very unpleasant. And the food was being served outside, which is lovely, but that evening was very cool, so we ordered room service. We were still charged full price. We would definitely go back there, but would have to be reassured that the remodeling is completed.

Staff was awesome property was very kept clean I would go again very highly recommend to go back .

We arrived at the hotel and they said they couldn't find our reservation even though our it was confirm through hotels.com but that they had rooms available. After driving through sharp curves and narrowed roads, we didn't think twice about staying. Nobody gives you any information about the amenities of the hotel or provides you with a piece of paper with such information. The pool is not heated but they pump water every morning from the lake which is actually warmer than the pool, third party rents the kayaks, the food is ok but overpriced, only get a couple of small water bottles during your whole stay and there is only wifi in the lobby but you have to ask for the password. The only thing that is boutique at this hotel are the prices. The rooms are nice looking but would never stay at this hotel again.

Where to begin? First of all, the only redeeming part of this resort is the restaurant. Their food is delicious beyond belief and at comparable prices to other restaurant. I highly the restaurant. The a/c in the bedrooms work very well too. The pool was in terrible condition. It was full of dead bugs, the bottom of the pool was slippery and slimy, the water looked oily and milky...disgusting. I don’t think they are placing the proper amount of chemicals to clean pool and I doubt whether they have pool filter working at all. The worse part was the cabin itself. When you pay $350 dollars for one night, you expect a high standard of cleanliness. IT WAS NOT! My daughter’s twin bed had hairs on the white sheet. My room upstairs had a biblical type apparition of hundreds of tiny flies all over bedding, curtain, and wall. I would have left in that moment, but there was a terrible storm that night. I ended up sleeping in one of the other rooms. If you are Mrs. Clean, do not stay here because you will be grossed out. My family and I had been wanting to stay st these cabins for so long and it is unfortunate that cabins are in this condition.
