The staff were amazing! Super friendly and helpful. Great place if you want to be close to shopping, restaurants and tour pick up spots. Quiet room and comfy beds with great AC. Virtually no street noise, just the song birds. My only complaint would be that booking said patio, but the patio was just the hotel common area. The Expedia description should have been more accurate.

Walking distance to restaurants and shopping and directly across the street from the beach and Malecon. Very convenient because we brought our dog with us. Wonderfull staff!!!

We stayed in an ocean suite which was a good size with sofa, kitchen and dining table and then separate bedroom facing the ocean and malecón. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was clean and well equipped with blackout and privacy curtains. The malecón has a ton of activity and music late into the nights so if you are sensitive to noise you may want to stay in and interior room but we liked having the sea view and balcony over looking the action. The hotel staff is very helpful and accommodating. We especially appreciated Priscilla who was amazing. The restaurant attached to the hotel is a bit over priced so we mostly ate elsewhere. We had a wonderful stay and felt the hotel location and staff were perfect and would stay again.

Casa al Mar is a beautiful boutique hotel that is very well situated, right on the La Paz Malecon. The 2-bedroom suite we stayed in was very comfortable, even luxurious —with gorgeous bedrooms, a kitchen area, a small living room and bathroom. We experienced just 1 small issue, (a very small room mistakenly booked for my sister and brother-in-law), but were able to address that by having them stay with me in my 2 bedroom suite — other than that, a wonderful stay!!
