The room we were given (triple room) literally in the attic, with a slanted ceiling and view from the window only if you stood on the bed. The bathroom was so small that you hit your knees on the wall while sitting on the toilet (a larger person would be challenged to stay in this room). An electric kettle was provided, which was nice, but the cord was short and you had to unplug a power strip to plug it in. Breakfast was included in the attached restaurant, and it was decent. Location is right in the heart of the City Centre. I guess you could say the attic was quiet. I think this was our most expensive accommodation in 2 weeks in Europe (including Rome, Florence, Pompeii, Cologne). We stayed in Airbnbs where we had a whole apartment that were cheaper. Disappointing for the cost.

Small, pokey hotel - pleasant staff; clean; basic but with the essentials. Central; if the price is low and you just want a simple bed it’s fine; not unusual for Amsterdam, a city a large stock of overpriced, fairly rundown central hotels in need of a major refurb.

No elevator to the 5th floor so beware if you have luggage

Even if the building is old , it was very clean , the location was great and the staff was very nice . I stayed just for a night and the little tiny room I booked had all the essentials. The only problem I had is that the safe wasn’t working and they tried to fix it and even to replace it but I was staying only one night so there wasn’t enough time so I hope they fixed it for the next guest . Luckily I was travelling with values other than my passport. The breakfast at the restaurant was simple but good . I would stay again there .

The location is great; right off Dam Square and close to Centraal Station. Our room was typically small but very clean with a nice updated bathroom. No hairdryer in the room but you an ask for on at the front desk. Staff were amazing; and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. We would stay here again.

Staff was courteous upon check in, held bags, room was clean, beds were comfortable, windows blocked noise, wifi connection was excellent.

Great location, tolerable prices, friendly staff. It's certainly not fancy, I only needed a place for one night, and for that it was great. Room was very small but functional. My room was only accessible via a narrow stair, so not recommended for people with mobility issues or big/heavy luggage (not a problem for me though) Breakfast was good, and staff overall was very friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant experience

The overall condition of the property is deplorable, there is no loft or elevator to the 5th floor / attic, you would have to pull luggage two flight of stairs, thre are no windows, the sheets are stained, the room smelly, power went out, no fix. Don't try complaining tothe hotel staff either ! NOT AS ADVERtISED

So close to everything! Elevator made it easy to transport luggage. Would definitely stay again.

I booked a single room for 3 nights and wasn't disappointed. The room is very small but in reality, this didn't bother me at all. The bed was comfortable albeit a little softer than I prefer, there was a kettle, tea and coffee, a safe and a small TV. Fortunately, the window could be opened and there was air conditioning available. With regards to the air conditioning control panel, I could never seem to make any adjustments and it was so brightly lit that I felt like I was sleeping with a lamp on at night. The bathroom really is very small and the bathroom door was not required in fact, despite it being a concertina door I actually found it a bit of a pain. Additionally, the shower head needs a good clean or replacement as although there was always plenty of hot water, I felt that the shower could have flowed better. A typical continental breakfast was included in the room rate. The room and the hotel in general was spotlessly clean and the staff were extremely polite and professional. When you add in the location, AND the fact that the hotel has an elevator, it was a really great room for the price. I would have no hesitation booking the same hotel again. There are very few single rooms in Amsterdam so you normally end up paying twice the price for a room with a double bed in it.

Excellent location. Rooms small but typical of European city.breakfast was great. We also ate and drank at restaurant and it was very good. Could sit on heated patio and people watch.

Access to lobby on first floor only via steps. Is an issue for older guests with luggage from safety n accessibility point of view. Room is tiny.

The breakfast was adequate. The rooms were clean but there were no amenities. A hairdryer would have been a plus. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel itself was very near the train station and other sights were within walking distance.

The hotel is an ideal location in City Center. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner.Area is very walkable and safe. Cozy room ideal for one or couples. Would definitely stay again! Mickayla was awesome at the front desk!

Very basic. Everything tiny and cramped and minimal. However, spotless, maid service excellent, mattress comfy, good breakfast (thank you Majid, great job). It's all about the location which is right in the middle of everything, walking distance to Central Station. We had a street facing room but the noise was reasonable. Great for people watching. Price is ok for what you get.

Good location, easy walk from Centraal Station. The room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent with lots of options.

Staff extremely helpful on check-in and ordering cab upon departure. The room was extremely small. However, it suited our needs for just sleeping and showering. Very basic breakfast, but again suited our needs. This hotel is in the very heart of the center.. Very easy to walk to from train station.
