Classic old Hotel in an old small town. Everything was great except wifi didn't reach my room way at the back.

This is our go to hotel in Las Tablas. Clean rooms, good AC and a decent restaurant with good coffee. Only issue is when the hotel only has a few rooms booked they dont turn on the boiler for the hot water. Whenever I ask they always say its broken...However when the hotel is full like for a holiday weekend the hot water always seems to be fine. Have had this experience for over 8 years so we know what is really going on....

The property and building are fine, very nice. The room was very good, with good A/C, good TV, good bed, good water pressure, good water temperature, and good amenities. The food was very good, but the waitress in the restaurant was TERRIBLE. She preferred chatting with the other waiters to even checking if there was water. The wait time for the food was terrible—an hour! Well, at least it tasted good. They said they applied the senior citizen discount, but I checked the bill and it was a lie. I complained and they refunded me in cash because they didn't know how to use the credit card terminal. I think this hotel still needs to improve its procedures. But it's very nice and cozy despite everything.

Staff was great. I was practicing my Spanish and some were practicing English so we had fun each evening on the roof having dinner and drinks.

Loved the roof top bar and view! Room was clean and spacious. The shower was small with no closing door or shower curtain. Room key is needed for lights and air conditioner. Food was really good in restaurants, the buffet break was adequate with good hot coffee. Overall I would stay here again since I think it was the best place for in town Las Tablas! And the staff was very friendly!

Grand old property, the jewel of days gone by. The building is immaculate inside, the restaurant is great, the bar is beautiful (with great selection and amazing prices), but the neighborhood has slipped noticably

This was a great All In One choice--great staff, helpful in every way--super great restaurant on the main floor, great lobby and a roof top swimming pool. Great services nearby as well--supermarket, coffee shop, church and town plaza.

Our room was spacious with a bar fridge (that was extremely iced over), balcony and adequate storage. The bed was firm and comfortable. The hotel is aging but the owners seem to try to maintain serviceability. We were on the 2nd floor. Wifi was spotty the first day and non-functioning on the 2nd and 3rd days. It seemed to work fine in the lobby area only. There was a safety deposit box in the room, but it was malfunctioning. Maintenance could not repair it. The was no hot water the entire time of our visit although we were advised when we arrived that it was malfunctioning, but would be repaired shortly. I guess shortly is a relative term. We had decent service in the restaurant but had to wait at least 45 minutes on one day to even get a cup of coffee. Saying that, the restaurant was busy with a large sports team taking up most of the tables and there being only 2 wait staff. I do not blame the wait staff, they were doing their best. Cleanliness was an issue. The shower glass was dirty on both the inside of the shower and the outside that was next to the toilet. It was not touched once during our stay.

We had our dog with us. They say they are pet friendly. Room was tight. The stand they give you to put your suitcase on, No room to open the closet. 2 double beds in it. No frills. Just straight hotel. Restaurant was good. Rose the bartender was AWESOME. She hooked us up on a good local bar.

By far the nicest place to stay in Las Tablas. Having stayed there at least 15 times i feel i can share about this. It seems that whenever the hotel is almost empty they turn off the hot water, maybe to save money. At least 3 times that we have stayed there was no hot water and we were told it was broken. Come on now?? Really Aside from that it is a nice somewhat quiet place to stay. As long as there are no fastivals or street parties going on.
