Quite until the train went past

I would stay there agai

Excellent service when contacted Gateway to say I would be late night check in, they arranged my room to be easily accessible and the room was clean and comfortable. AAAA

A very average motel. Needs some maintenance but handy location. Sofa bed Couch smelt and had marks on it.

Friendly helpful staff

Close to the waterfront and Mt Maunganui.

Super basic place if you need a place to crash. Unfortunately the spa bath didn’t work for our visit. It is close to the train line and highway so there is a bit of noise. Lovely people and clean place.

Great stay, the room was perfect. We walked to our restaurant for tea which I probably should have done more research it was a little rough but certainly not the motels fault.

Shower was cold in the morning and the bed was hard as a rock. Lots of road noise and can hear people walking around upstairs

Nice motel just situated off the busy road but no biggie. Also close to Bayfair Mall and other surrounding shops. Staff very friendly and accommodating and the room also spacious and having the luxury of a smart TV was a bonus as you can use your own device to stream your programs. Highly recommended and would stay again

Lady at check in was really nice and friendly. Room seemed quite clean, shower was good. We did not like the rodents running around in the ceiling which kept us up all night. If we didn’t have to be somewhere in the morning we would have packed up at 3am and left. We didn’t get any sleep. Reported it to the office and lady said she would let the owners know, I hope they sort it.
