The room wasn't ready when we arrived, and daily room cleaning wasn't provided unless you left them the key, but we weren't informed of this when we checked in. The location is great and the staff is friendly.

Filthy place, don’t go there: bathroom is full of mildew, found hair in the bathtub that could not belong to me (I’m bald), holes in walls, you can feel the springs in the mattress, furniture is old and heavily worn. They don’t have toilet seat on the toilet and don’t provide toilet tissue either. We had to fight with the staff to get extra towels, too. There are so many nuce hotels closer to the historic quarter and Plaza de Armas, find something else than the Waynapicchu.

The location was fine, less than a ten minute walk to the Korikancha. The room was clean but the carpet was a bit icky. There was street noise, but Cusco does not keep late hours. The breakfast was average. Btw, I asked for a 6:00 a.m. wakeup call one morning. I saw the clerk write it in the logbook. Guess what, no call.

The staff was friendly, but unfortunately my room was above a noisy street where buses would frequently stop. Even with windows closed, some of the exhaust entered my room, and the noise only abated at night time. It seems that all buses in Cusco have at least one personnel on board who calls out loudly to those standing on the sidewalk, when the bus stops, announcing the bus' destinations.

We stayed here for 6 nights total- 2 nights when we first arrived in Cusco and then 4 nights after we returned from Salkantay Trek. We had a good experience those first 2 nights so we just decided to stay again after the trek. Staff- The entire staff was friendly and accommodating- the front desk employees booked an ATV tour for us, arranged a taxi to the airport (only 10 soles!), and kept our luggage for us for 5 days while we were on trek. Breakfast- it was bonus to have a continental breakfast in the morning for some much needed unlimited coffee. Overall the breakfast was simple (eggs, meat product, lots of bread, fruit, cereal, and fresh juices) and the host/waiter was always smiling! Location- about 15 min walk to Plaza de Armas and the San Pedro Market. We liked that it was nearby the action, but not right in the center. We did not mind walking. Overall- I know there are cheaper hostels in Cusco, but this hotel was still very inexpensive and had everything we needed. The bakery/coffee shop below was a nice touch too. I would recommend this hotel!

Quaint little hotel in an okay area. The historical main square was within walking distance or a short Uber ride. The staff was very friendly. I only needed a room to sleep and shower as I was doing tours and sightseeing every day. The rooms have no heat, so pack warm pajamas if traveling in their winter. Other than soap, shampoo, and towels, there are no other amenities in the room. For the price and my needs, this hotel was acceptable. However, if I ever go back to Cusco, I would pick a hotel closer to the main square and that has more included amenities. For basic accommodations though, I was satisfied with choosing this property for my first visit to Cusco.

Early & easy check in, offered refreshments FOC, which was a nice touch. Think we had a better room, 202. Clean decent & glad this was on 2nd floor. No lifts & omg 2nd day in Peru, you notice any steps, tire you out quickly!! I smoke & my partner dosent, he was more exhausted than me!!!! No lift asmentioned, smalll, clean breakfast area on top floor, the ladys, working there, always happy to help with cooked eggs. From our experience. you always have to ask staff for anything not direct available ie cooked eggs!!! anyware in this part of the world. In a nutshell, decent price (booked throu 3rd party) ie Expedia or other website's. If booked direct, cost double price for same room per night???? WHY??? omg could have paid double for same accommodation.. Only small issue, was we tried to email several time's for airport collection which is a decent price advertied. I tried 3 different email address to try & request, confirm to no avail. We ended up just paying once arrived from airport & was ripped off in price. Thou did ask young guy on reception staff, he arranged "us" airport collection, on our 2nd visit, after our 3 days in La Paz..& everything was sorted & confirmed. Nice touch.

Great value hotel in a good location. A little out from the main square but for what you pay, its worth the 5 minute walk. Well maintained facilities and decent breakfast. Room wasn't the biggest but it was comfortable.
