Let me check in an hour early which was very convenient as I had to go out around normal check in time

Excellent customer service!

Pleasant helpful staff, good breakfast, good location right at the bus/train station. On the Negative side smelly damp washroom & creaky floors. Needs improved/updated.

This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed - very bad smell and fake pictures - even their front desk staff said the pictures on the website are misleading. This hotel is very difficult to find and in the basement they have rooms next to a cleaning room. Don’t book it you will regret it

Fantastic location within a few mins walk of the train station. Comfortable bed and breakfast included. Only drawback was having no air conditioning though a fan provided in the bedroom.

The hotel is located right in the centre of Venlo, just a couple of minutes walk from the train station. It is slightly dated, but does the job for a brief stay. The hotel reception & entrance is located in the restaurant below, which is slightly confusing at first! Check-in was seamless though, with excellent friendly service from the receptionist. The room was basic but comfortable, with an en suite bathroom, and was spotlessly clean; although the decor was again a bit dated. Breakfast was included, which was served in the restaurant, and consisted of a good spread of typical continental fare. All in all, an excellent base in Venlo.

Die Unterkunft ist für eine Nacht absolut in Ordnung und sehr zentral gelegen. Alles war sauber. Aber: Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und auch der Fahrstuhl ist mit Vorsicht zu genießen und bleibt gerne mal stecken.

Trein mooi dichtbij. De prijs ook goed. Breakfast ook Top Dank u wel. Tot ziens:)

Séjour très agréable , le respect du personnel , l'endroit juste au centre et proche du station du train et bus .

Hotel American ligt op circa 200 meter afstand van het spoorweg/busstation Venlo, tegenover Limburgs Museum en Museum van Bommel van Dam, en aan het begin van de uitgaansstraat Parade, met veel restaurants en cafés. Het hotel ligt ook aan de rand van het centrum van Venlo met winkelgebied en de oevers van de Maas. Venlo kan ook het startpunt zijn voor wandelingen en fietstochten langs de Maas en in het bosrijke Nederlands-Duitse grensgebied. De kamers van Hotel American zijn netjes en schoon, goed ontbijtbuffet. Het hotelpersoneel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prijs/kwaliteit: uitstekend.
