Great view of the fjord, front desk was the cherry on top.

The manager was very friendly and helpful, the view was great. The room had no tea or coffee machine, no electric kettle, no nini bar or safe. The bed was too soft, the wash room very small, with a shower stall in a corner, separated with only a shower curtain. Only one pillow was provided for each person.

Great hotel with spacious rooms. Excellent vews of the fjord. Good breakfast too. Staff was very helpful and helped carry our heavy luggage to the top floor. Free self service laundry.

Hotel is in much need of a complete refurbishment. If you get a balcony the view is incredible but the room is tired and old. Bathroom was dirty, grout in need of a good cleaning. Breakfast was lacking. More of a youth hostel than hotel.

We very much enjoyed our stay!

First, we loved Balestrand. One of the most beautiful areas in Norway. Our hotel was absolutely perfect for our stay. It is a smaller ‘boutique’ and family run hotel that provides very personalized service. We were able to do laundry and there is a guest kitchen if you want to prepare a meal. The owner and staff could not be more kind and attentive. The balcony views are incredible.

Very well managed property - wonderfully friendly and helpful front desk staff. Ate at restaurant two breakfasts and two dinners and all food was fresh, well prepared and very nice.

A wonderful old-school hotel, clean and safe. Very nice view from the balcony. Very fast check in and out, we staied one night only and that was great, super market nearby 1 minute walking and information office either. Will book again for sure.

The Kringsja hotel is a very pleasant place to stay for a visit to Balestrand and beyond. The service, comfort, and value are excellent.

Nice hotel, comfortable room.

We have stayed in a lot of places, but for an amazing location, this is it. We had a 3rd floor balcony overlooking Sognfjorden, an absolutely gorgeous evening and great service. We will remember this place if we make it back to the area...one for the books.

Beautiful view from our balcony. Loved the town of Balestrand! Very helpful front desk staff. Limited but adequate breakfast.

Wonderful room

Great views from the room and the terrace. Really liked the guest kitchen so we could cook our meals and eat overlooking the fjord. Better than any restaurant in the town! The staff were really friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do. The rooms were nice and modern even though some of the decor in public areas was a bit dated. Overall we had a great stay here.

Excellent location, great window view and breakfast. Interesting rec room in basement.

Very nice view, we also got the upgrade to the room with balcony. The reception is very kind and help full. Breakfast was good.
