This place was packed with teens. Our room was only cleaned on my last evening. Only the trash would be taken out. No cleaning would be done. Literally evening. The shower mat was gross, I would spray down the bathroom everyday because of the hair everywhere (bring flip flops to shower!) I had breakfast a few times and would have to sort through the pile of dishes for a well cleaned plate. I don't recommend using the dryer either. Paid twice and still my 6 pieces of laundry were wet. I wouldn't stay here again.

Excellent place to stay but bring your own towel to save 5 pounds.

There were individuals & groups of all ages. Everything was very clean, and the staff was polite & helpful. Great location!!

Great place! I rented a room to myself and was surprised by how clean, new and efficient it was. Great location and view too!

Good for a quick stay

It’s VERY conveniently located in city centre. The entire property was extremely clean. The staff were very helpful. It was a great experience overall. The coffee at the bar is really nice too.

Very bare rooms and useless curtains that blocked no light at all. Decent shower and bathroom. Had it been cheaper, I would have been happy. For the price it was, you expect a bit more.

I didn't realise it was a hostel until I arrived. It states it's a hotel in the description. Other guests confirmed this too. It's clean and the staff were excellent but no TV in the room and the bar closed at 11 pm on the night of the Mexico v England game.

We are a family of 5, and had a lovely stay. Place was clean, comfortable, and great location!

Clean facility and bathrooms, safe location.

We enjoyed our stay at Clink. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the rooms and the cleanliness. They have so many activities and events it’s great! We were a little disappointed in the selection at breakfast and no hand towels in the washroom but overall we would love to stay again.

Actually a really good stay. I was in a room with other people, but all were respectful.

While it was a very minimalist room, the room was comfortable, had AC, allowed you to store luggage before and after checkin/out (for a fee) and staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!

No frills hotel/hostel. Stayed in a family room that comfortably fit 4 people (full size bed and bunk beds). Had to make the bunk beds with sheets provided on beds. Private bathroom had soap, shampoo, and conditioner which was a nice surprise.

Believe the reviews. This is a phenomenal place to stay in Dublin. From initial check in with the very helpful staff to entering my room, and being completely blown away by the quality, cleanliness and incredible value for money, everything about my stay was a very pleasant surprise. The closest Airport Express bus stop is Aston Quay. It's the second stop on the route. Get off the bus, turn around, see the O'Connell Street bridge, walk over that, take the 2nd street on the left (Abbey St) and walk about 5 minutes to the Clink i Lár which will be on the left. Buses run on time BTW. Simple easy check in, with helpful staff if needed. Get your key card and go to your room, but you will need to scan your card in the elevator. I booked a single room which was very reasonably priced for what you get. I was on the 7th floor and had a good view over the city. The attached bathroom was amazing: modern, clean, lots of hot water and good quality fixtures and fittings. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of outlets. The location is close to plenty of places to eat, shop and drink. Sadly, Dublin is no longer the place it used to be. LOTS of shady characters, some unhoused and mentally challenged, intoxicated and under the influence people mixing with ordinary people. It pays, as in all big cities, to be aware of your surroundings and use caution. Overall, Clink i Lár punches well above it's weight and I can't say enough good things about it. Highly recommended.
