Great stopover

This is a very charming hotel with an absolutely kind, helpful, warm staff. It's definitely more rustic than modern, but it was clean, comfy and felt very safe.

Has a lovely pool area plus good outside areas to sit in.

A bit disappointing, photos looked great , clean & tidy,no restaurant, had to drive into town for food , buffet breakfast was good.A quiet hotel.It was ok for an overnighter.

The room across the hall was being worked on for my 3 day stay. The door was left open most of the time and having it shut a majority of the time would have been preferred. Everyone was cordial and helpful.

Welcoming and helpful staff

We needed a hotel to stop and sleep at while driving from Nice to Paris. Dak hotel was okay for the price paid. The city Avallon is dead and most shops are closed. There is no restaurant at the hotel, but you can order breakfast. The breakfast was okay although a bit pricey for 4 people.

Friendly staff, good customer service experienced. Rooms are ideal for a single/multi night stay, and it has a good location.

We were not asked online if we wanted a non-smoking room and we did not think to ask as we have not run into a smoked-in room for so long. We chose the hotel due to price as hotels downtown were much more expensive. We don't think it was worth the price we paid and in hindsight we would rather have paid more to get a nicer hotel.It is several miles from the center of town without much near it. It did have a great breakfast.

Nice bed and room! Clean and comfortable. Easily access by car. Convenient parking.

Stopped over at this hotel on the way to Paris. A little out of the way. Quick and pleasant check-in process. Room was average but we just need a quick rest and move on. Secure location and plenty of parking space.

The Dak'Hotel is perfect for anyone who requires cleanliness, good service and bright surroundings. Most economy hotels do not meet the high standards of the Dak and I would recommend it to anyone who wants good value without worrying about the quality of service.

A wonderful place just a short distance from the motorway .The receptionist recommended a restaurant in the town "le Cheval Blanc" which turned out to be an excellent choice . We will come back here again .

Great staff make the difference and this Hotel has that. Anything we wanted they did their best to provide, printing some emails - no problem. Help with luggage - no problem. You might also want to know that there are some excellent restaurants at reasonable prices in walking distance.

We weren't sure when we turned up but as soon as we went in, we were made to feel very welcome. Room was great, pool was lovely and breakfast fantastic. Would definitely go again.

very nice people run this hotel. Room was ok. Breakfast was typical European food. Coffee typically bad but nobody in Europe has good coffee. Pool was not heated which was a dissappointment to our kids.
