Beautifully decorated room with a very comfortable bed and most importantly the best pillows ever. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner but breakfast was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay there again if we visit the area in the future.

The Swan is a great place to stay for location as it’s close to the castle and Cathedral and the high Street. The manager gave exceptional service and made sure we were comfortable, and we looked after. The food and beverage was outstanding. Strongly recommend this to anyone

We booked last minute, only a snug room was available, this was perfectly fine for 1 night . Had everything we needed, staff were very helpful . Perfect location in the centre Arundel .

We loved the swan hotel. Although our room was A Snug room if it hadn’t of been for the extreme hot weather it would’ve been great. It was a little claustrophobic. The bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom was a little tight but the shower was big. Ask for a low floor if you have difficulty with stairs as they’re quite steep. We received a warm welcome on arrival and the amazing friendliness of the staff continued through our 2 night stay. Special mention goes to Lee the manager, Sally our fun waitress, Peter the Barman and the young student at breakfast (sorry can’t remember his name. We had trouble with our room lock and Lee went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the solution. Ee would definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so relaxing. Location was perfect, right in the centre of town.

Exceptionally clean everywhere, very helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast. The snug room was limited for space and facilities and I would definitely return but only in one of the larger rooms.

Carpets grubby, rooms tired. Indulgence room booked @£135. No wardrobe/draws so short stays only. Only shutters so light gets through mornings. Bathroom with no heating whatsoever. Enjoyed breakfast with good choice.

The Swan Hotel is easily among the best I have stayed in my travels. The town of Arundel is charming, and the Swan Hotel is located in the heart. It is a well-maintained hotel with cheerful and helpful staff. I had a wonderful lamb Sunday roast with a great pint of cider. The room was cozy and quiet, with a superb view of the town and castle. I had a made-to-order breakfast that was delicious, filling, and complementary. There are not enough good things to say about the village, the people, and The Swan. Well worth a visit.

Great stay. Although town quiet at this time if year pub was buzzing and we had a lovely meal here. Service was excellent. Breakfast also had great offerings. Negatives - road noise and milk not available in room. Had to request and was in a smelly flask. Always had milk in room so found strange. Everything else there you could want though.

Really cute bar/pub, perfect location, breakfast options great, and the 'snug room' was way bigger than I assumed!

Lovely pub and room was perfect for our stay. Nice touches with dressing gown and slippers .However bathroom was tired. Paper peeling off ceiling. Shower flooding taps loose. And you can't make a proper cup of tea with hot water from a coffee machine. Such a shame as teapig teabags too.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. The room was called a Snug and "Snug" it certainly was. Just about ok for 1 or 2 nights but for longer stays get a bigger room.

It was FANTASTIC! Highly recommend, would definitely go again! Thank you so much to the great breakfast staff!
