Great quality standard of hospitality

An amazing experience and our third time of staying here. The rooms are fabulous, comfortable and very quiet. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and hot.

Incredible hotel. Great location with parking nearby. The rooms are beautiful, clean, large and the decor is stunning. All the staff, led by Shay, were so helpful. Will definitely return.

Bed for two was only 140 cm wide. Definitely not enough and it was also not comfortable. The room was also warm with no noticeable ventilation. Frienly staff and good location since it’s next to the station.

We arrived late, having been let down by a previous booking. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful. They promptly got us to our rooms accommodating my elderly father beautifully. The rooms are lovely, newly updated and gorgeously designed. The drinks were delicious, breakfast stunning and the team led by Shay were warm, incredibly helpful and just a delight to chat to.

The hotel is quite new with good facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The noise level is higher than I expected and the cleanness level can be better too.

Perfect stay here for a wedding

What a great find, great place, comfortable rooms, opposite the station and a nice walk into the lovely bustling town, which takes 15 mins. The manager was so lovely and all the staff made our short stay perfect. Looking forward to going back one day. Would really recommend. Thanks very much.

Comfort able bed but what we paid was a bit high.

Amazing! Perfect place to stay, immersive to the culture, excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, very very good food. I felt at home.

Nice old victorian fireplace, beautiful arched, stained glass windows

Spotlessly clean, great bed, super breakfast, spacious room. Sadly, points deducted due to humming noise from engine room at the back by the decking. Wasn’t happy with this as everything else was perfect.

Excellent hotel to stay,room was absolutely spotless, as was bathroom. Only 1 very slight niggle, meal took to long from order to table. Overview it's a great place to stay. Looking forward to my next a couple of weeks

Lovely hotel Kiki

I have enjoyed previous stays here in the past, however, the last stay was disappointing. There was only one member of staff and she was more focused on serving customers at the bar. The bar is also incredibly noisy. It would be really helpful if there was another area to wait in if you don’t want to stand in a noisy bar. I was also woken up at 5am by people having a loud conversation outside my room.

It was amazing to return after a year and be greeted by staff that remembered you. This is truly one of the nicest hotels in the uk. Great rooms, great pub, great foodies. Love Love Love
