Lots of good things about this place - wifi is secure. There are usb ports in the power sockets. Crisp white bedding. A comfy chair - but you can't see the tv from its position. Room itself ok but the bathroom let it down. No shelf to put anything and although the toilet and very small sink are clean the shower tray desperately needs replacing and the shower surround, skirting boards and around the door need a deep clean. Inclusive breakfast is limited (though cooked breakfast available at an additional cost)

Very lovely and friendly staff. Room was basic but comfortable and quiet. Food at breakfast and dinner was very tasty. No frills, but a very good stay.

Booked this charming local pub accommodation as it was close to our event. The place was small and cousy with a real old pub feel. Very friendly and accommodating owner/publican. We even got a breakfast bag in the morning due to an early start. Highly recommended. PS food was excellent 👌 Will definitely be staying again next year. Conrad and Leanne

Stayed as we were exhibiting at a Hotel nearby. The pub is really cosy, has a gorgeous open fire and is run by the loveliest couple who made us feel very welcome! We had drinks, starters and mains - the food was incredible. We didn't have room for pudding! We stayed just one night, and we had everything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. We would definitely recommend and will stay again next year!

The place is tired, room cheap for a reason, bar area very drafty and cold in spite of an open fire, basic food

Nice welcome by the owner's daughter. Pub is nice country pub. Room was nicely decorated, comfy and clean. Tea and coffee making facilties. Breakfast was cereals, croissants, etc or a cooked brekkie (which we didn't have) Specials board looked lovely (sunday roast) Emma (landlady) is a friendly, nice lady

Lovely, cosy pub, that serves good food. Stay at BnB was perfect for me and dog friendly. Owners went above and beyond in terms of service. Highly recommend!

Had a great stay for two nights. Bed very comfortable and good quality linen. The shower cubicle was tiny and uncomfortable to use and I’m not a big person by any stretch. It was ok for the short stay though. Was a bit surprised only continental breakfast was included considering the room rate.

Charming pub and hotel, incredibly genuine friendly people running it who made the experience great. Nice parking tucked away at the back and bustling nice pub inside! Room was nice, but missing some attention to detail which sort of took away from the stay - remote was cracked and old but still worked, shower was cold and heating in room wasn't on in late October. Corridor nice and warm, and thermostat had a lock over it so couldn't change that. Still recommend it, the hospitality of the owners / managers made the trip!
