We were really impressed by the service at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room is very clean and comfort. Would highly recommend!

I booked because of the 9/10 rating which I think probably 2-5 / 10 is not appropriate. The room layout is awkward, furniture is dated and broken. Location is not quite nice neither. Don’t not recommend to stay there.

The staff is not well versed in English. The concierge was a trainee and didn’t have any restaurant recommendations. The front desk for the majority not helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean

Stayed here for 3 nights for business trip and the room is spacious and well-furnished, certainly deserving of its 5 star status. Around 30 mins walk or 10 rmb taxi ride to nan chang street - main attraction for both locals and tourists

This is my favorite hotel in China. Been staying there for at least 10 years on my Asia trips.

Eveeything was great except our room aircon. It was set at 24c which was slightly warm to our liking. Otherwise, all was very good

It was an excellent stay at Intercontinental WuXi as this was our first time visiting the city. The staff at reception was polite and courteous. We booked an Executive Suites and we were told that it was 70m square large and there's only one room in each floor. The city view was magnificent from the glass window of the room. Buffet breakfast spread was wide but the restaurant was kinda packed as they were many people to fight for the space and food. Anyway, we managed to fill our stomach and quickly left the restaurant for other excursions. Overall, it was pleasant and we will consider coming back here for our next visit.

Beautiful hotel, outstanding breakfast... most diverse layout I've experienced. WiFi was subpar, however the plug--in Internet was fine. I had better WiFi on the plane. Cleaning staff took slippers from the closet and laid them out for me! So very nice.

This experience was perfect! The room was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. The food at the Chinese restaurant was exquisite! I couldn't complain if I tried.

The Intercontinental was truly a 5 star hotel for the property and the service. The area was a little desolate and for some reason, I had a hard time finding restaurants in the hotel but I really enjoyed my stay. The buffet breakfast was the best! I went to the Crown Plaza and the Kingstown for breakfast to meet friends but the Intercontinental was by far the most variety as well as quality. I'm definitely staying there the next time I'm in Wuxi. Wi-fi could use some improvement though.

Very nice hotel with spacious and well equipped rooms. The only thing I disliked; seen in almost all Chinese hotels is the huge window between the room and the bathroom, limiting privacy but at least this one had solid shades unlike some others with semi-transparent ones.
