Everything is perfect, it's close, only 2 minutes to Treasure Bay, and it's strategic, behind it there's a minimarket and lots of places to eat, and the best part is you can watch YouTube.

The rooms are big and comfortable, come with a closet and a mini safe. No mini bars though. The amenities are just enough; however, the soap dispensers were empty when we arrived, and we had to request a top-up. Location is good for us, but finding the road into the hotel was a bit difficult as the road is small, and there’s no signage to show the direction to the hotel. We had one small incident where the staff accidentally booked our room for 1 night instead of 2, and they asked us to switch rooms on the 2nd night, which we feel was inappropriate as the mistake was done by the staff. We did complain, and they decided not to push us to change rooms. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay and would book again. We hope that the areas that are lacking could be improved the next time we visit.

Overall, it's OK. Only two points for Onyx management: 1. There's sometimes an unpleasant odor coming from the restrooms. 2. The swimming pool facilities are poorly maintained, with very dirty water.

We chose to stay in a Villa. It is cozy and spacious. What surprises me is the good food with a good price.

The best hotel in Uban. Comfortable location, delicious breakfast, and a reasonable price with excellent room and breakfast amenities. I've stayed here more than twice and will stay again.

Service / service especially in the facility section is very lacking. I stayed and booked a villa type that already has a private pool, but when I checked in the pool in our villa unit was not ready, the water was dirty, it could not be used even until the next morning there were still staff who were busy cleaning the pool so we could not use the pool facilities until we checked out the next day, it's useless to provide facilities but can't be used. Even though it was included in the price we paid when booking. As a guest who has booked only knows and wants the facilities provided and offered to be ready when the guest has checked in, for any obstacles or problems it is the hotel's responsibility so the hotel should think about and provide a solution so that the guest is comfortable and not disappointed 😢 . When we were informed that our villa pool was dirty and we complained, the staff explained it with an unfriendly tone and facial expression that tended to be curt 👎. Because we complained, we were only given a small fruit platter (containing only watermelon, papaya, and pineapple, and the pineapple was really sour 😭). Another thing was, when we checked in, the bathroom smelled so bad that we kept spraying it with water freshener (even though we'd just arrived and hadn't used it yet). It was very disappointing. Even though we booked the highest room type in the hotel 😢😢😢😢😢 This is my very first experience staying in this hotel, and I'll never come back there again 👎👎👎

Stayed at Onyx Hotel & Villa Bintan and honestly, it's the best place around Tanjung Uban. The room was comfy and clean, and the room service was super affordable—plus the food tasted great! Totally worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, quiet, comfort, and also clean.

The place is comfortable, aesthetic, but the room lacks lighting, lacks a full body mirror. But overall it's okay.

Overall it is quite good and comfortable. There was a little problem when having breakfast where if I didn't complain then my ordered food wouldn't come because it was considered complete.

Cleanliness Ok..😊 The food is delicious… because I wanted to order food online, I didn't know where, so I just ordered it at the hotel for dinner. Worth it to buy..👍🏻
