Room was clean but could definitely head the other people in the next room. Was received by the owner of the home but got “in trouble” for not messaging him I was running late (but within the check-in time) despite never being asked to let him know.

If you are considering booking a room in a private residence, you should be aware that while the price may look good, there appears to be no set "standard" for these accommodations. It's possible you'll be given something different from what is advertised with the booking provider, some may lack even the basics like bathroom linens, or you coud be forced to change accomodation locations without notice. If you are unhappy with the accomodation, the proprietor has the final say in what, if any restitution is made. The booking provider only facilitates communication between the guest and the proprietor, and that is where their obligation ends. If you want more certainty in what you're getting, stick to hotels or B&Bs.

It’s a basement and no private entrance. Always you need to interact with owner each and every small need. For kitchen you need to inform them, unfortunately if they are not available you can’t use it. So many restrictions. Not recommended.

It should be stipulated that the accommodation will have young children and expect a certain level of noise. I expected to have a quiet stay but was not.

We love the house it was very clean and the area looked very safe also.

They were very accommodating and the space was very clean.

I called a few days earlier to ensure that we had two separate beds (for two guys). When we arrived the owner insisted that the second bed was an extra $50.

Home was new and was very clean however it was very cold. Pack towels since they are not provided. There is a playground right acrossnfrom the home which is good for children.

We were only given 2 bath towels & 1 roll toilet paper for two adults for a 5 night stay. We were told that they expected the guests to bring extra but that information was not given to us prior to stay. You also have to enter front door of home where family is living to access flat. No separate entrance.

I love this home and will definitely come back again. Good place to stay with family, Good host
