We love the room and the ocean view we have a great night at the hotel Poseidon we loved.

We stayed at the suite and we wanted to use the jacuzzi, and it wasn’t clean, on top of that the water was yellow, disgusting!! Other than that everything else was good!

Nices hotel

Beautifully designed building! Staff were all super friendly! There is no hot water for my shower for or five days. There was loud music or soccer game playing into the night three of the eight days I was there but no louder than most Latin American hotels/countries. Overall, I do highly recommend The Poseidon!!!

Horrible experience my flight was delayed, so they decided to cancel my reservation on not give me back my money. You can call their phone number and they will never pick up.

Nice place

The room and the communal ares were clean. Breakfast was very good with fruit, cereal, bread, cheese, and 3 hot options. I would have preferred to see shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower rather than little bottles. The minibar was not restocked with the 3 (free) soft drink options despite me asking and the coffee and sugar were also not topped up daily. I would have expected better bearing in mind the amount paid for the room. Minor issues but overall a pleasant stay and all the staff I encountered were very pleasant and accommodating.

This hotel is a 1 STAR. 8 days of HELL. Hard beds, discolored off white towels, NO WASHRAGS AT ALL, very little if any toiletries NO LOTION OR BODYWASH, the nasty dead fish smell from the beach you can't swim in. Dirty dark-black sand & crud on the beach. Very very rocky. At low tide you are reassured not ever to enter the water by this hotel. We had to keep the glass doors closed to block both the mosquitoes (lots of them) flies and the nasty smell. Off spray barely worked. We got eaten alive. Room was not cleaned properly they are not up to standards of Covid cleaning at all. I bought my own bleach cleaners and Lysol Santizers for the bedding. We used our own towels. The breakfast just ok. Thanks to Juan Carlos. Don't waste your $s here. We will try the Wyndham next door & travel to other towns for better beaches nxt time we visit Manta The only bright star was Selena at the front desk. She was so pleasant and welcoming everyday. That guy in the evening never spoke to us.

Hotel Poseidon was a disappointment that was not worth the approximately $120/night we paid, for many reasons including staff issues, maintenance issues, and facility quality. Upon arriving we were not greeted by the staff. Despite visibly struggling to carry our bags, we were never offered help. After alerting the staff to our presence, we had a chilly/not-friendly check-in and were offered a room on the ground floor with a view of a concrete wall. This was disappointing as the hotel as the hotel did not seem full. We were never offered help getting our luggage to our room. The room itself was ok, but not worth $120/night. Overnight, we discovered the air conditioning had major maintenance issues which meant it shut off every 30 minutes or so, blinking brightly over the bed and causing the room to become very hot. It was too late to call for a repair. The rest of the room was ok, not great. We decided to try and have a few drinks by the pool. Again, we had a chilly reception. After ordering we provided a server our room number and verified it along with my name on the computer, leading us to believe the drinks were being put on our account that we would pay upon check out. Later, as we started to leave, a server abruptly stopped us saying we needed to pay now as we didn’t have a card on file (or something similar). That’s understandable, though we felt like he felt we were trying to dine and dash. Bottom line: Skip Poseidon. Stay at the Oro Verde or similar.

I checked on after a 7 hour drive based on accessibility. The hotel is nice but the ramps are steep difficult to get to beach as a use a walker. Staff in the bar were inattentive and the night waiter was rude

Beautiful hotel. Service was great. Staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. I needed a conference room to meet with my siblings and the staff was able to accommodate my needs at the last minute. I would stay here again and recommend the hotel to my friends, family or anyone traveling to Manta, Ecuador

The hotel is very new and quite a few of the employees need a little more experience. All employee were very courteous and always said hello and smiled. Very likeable employees.l
