They have two types of rooms. The Family Room has two bedrooms and a swimming pool, for a total of two units. The Studio Room has one queen-size bed and a plunge pool (not suitable for swimming), for a total of four units.
Luckily, because the Family Room was full, I booked two Studio Rooms in May 2026.
When I first arrived at the villa, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious parking lot, the cute slow-living garden area with a neatly designed chicken coop, and the friendly staff who, thankfully, helped carry our suitcases to our room.
I was placed in the farthest room and asked to wait 30 minutes because they said a technician was still fixing the lights. After being let in, I found the pool covered in moss and the water murky, dirty, and disgusting. I immediately contacted the hotel manager via WhatsApp and complained, as I couldn't believe I'd paid 1 million rupiah for a night to get a room like that. Luckily, the hotel manager was quick to move me to another room with a cleaner pool. I was again asked to wait almost an hour to enter the room because a repairman was in the room. I wondered why I hadn't just gotten that room in the first place. That way, guests wouldn't have to experience the disappointment of finding that ridiculous pool.
Not long after I entered the room, I saw a water tanker truck from the swimming pool company come and lay pipes to the farthest room.
I concluded that they were just starting out in the villa business, so pool cleanliness was only a concern when guests complained. It would be nice to have some quality standards in place to prevent guests who paid 1 million rupiah per night from being disappointed to find rooms that didn't live up to their price.
My sleep in the room was also less than restful, as I could hear the noise of animals running around from the ceiling. Furthermore, there was a sudden knock on my door and my parents' at 2 a.m. None of us dared to open the door. Luckily,
