Beautiful, modern and super comfortable. Great rooftop pool and bar.

There’s no doubt this is a good hotel. But it was evident that it was pretty empty so we were very disappointed to be given a room on the second floor with a view of the car park, rather than on the opposite side that has spectacular views out over the ocean. If they’d done that we would have considered staying again. We won’t be back to look at the car park.

So loved my stay - the rooms are beautiful and full balcony makes it open and fresh (not cramped like some rooms can fee) the. There is the pool and dining - wow ! So going back

Great stay at Ardo, spotlessly clean, comfortable, great staff and fabulous food. Only negatives are that the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, you have to go to the Ville next door. Also, I would expect a hotel of this standard to have a coffee machine in the room.

Was in Townsville for work and staying at Ardo's made the trip feel exceptional. Great restaurants for business dinners and nice walking spots for self care

Great stay at Ardo, beautiful view from the ocean front room, spotlessly clean, great bathroom products. Rooftop infinity pool is Instagram worthy! Had dinner in Terrasu, which was excellent!

A couple of minor things: Couldn’t cast iPhone to TV - had staff come and look at it but wouldn’t work. iPad instead of phone in room - couldn’t ring reception for assistance as internet down. No top sheet on bed - some like just doona - but quality resorts generally have top sheet. Breakfast was $45 each and yet signage in dining area said $27. Also had to pay for coffee / hot chocolate on top, so $100 for brekkie was a bit steep. Coffee in room was drip filtered and tasted awful.

In room dining was fantastic. Meals were delicious. The room was very comfortable.

Nice hotel in easy access distance to the ferry

Beautiful room and close proximity to Casino and the Strand. However they do not have designated parking for guests. When there is an event on at the Casino we had to park in the staff parking as people attending event/casino parked in property car park. Given the crime in Townsville I found this to be poor plus poor attend of the staff in regard to parking security.

Fantastic play to stay with stunnning views overlooking Magnetic Island. Very quiet, the property is immaculate. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Will stay again.
