Lovely old building very close to train n bus. No air con was hard in heat wave. It was a 15 min walk to main cafe/ restaurant area.

Overall it was ok...the service could have been better on the check-in. They could have offered a late check-out but it was not flexible. No AC or other amenities on the room

The fire alram went off 3 times during the night. Don't stay here if you want sleep!! Stay because you want to experience a federation heritage experience.

I hadn’t realised the rooms don’t have private bathrooms, but it was okay, the price is excellent, the staff wonderful, and it’s an easy walk to the beach or into town

Best place for me

For $136 per night, just 2 single beds in the room - that’s it. No other facilities e.g no TV. However, convenient location and the meal I had was good, as was the beer.

location walking distance to tafe, all pubs, cafes etc, great staff, good rate.

Friendly helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable. Was a good location for our needs. Would definitely recommend as a low budget stay.

The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The room was spacious and clean, thoroughly enjoyed my stay ☺️

Upon arrival I was met with the receptionist Bailey who I found super helpful and friendly. Had the ribs for dinner which were great and reasonably priced. Walking distance to freo and nth freo. Will stay again for sure 🙏😎

Very comfortable bedroom.....would be good to retrofit a single storey lift for those who may be less mobile.

Fabulous heritage building with original features in a great location. Reasonably priced rooms with windows that open. Traffic noise was noticeable but not too intrusive. Staff are lovely and helpful. Secure parking. Would definitely stay here again.
