We had an absolutely amazing stay at Ruby Hotel—without a doubt one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. As a family that travels frequently and has stayed at many wonderful properties around the world, we can honestly say this hotel stands out above the rest. Our room was exceptionally spacious for a family of four. The high ceilings and split-level layout created a unique sense of openness that made the room feel even larger. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, and the bathroom was a great size as well. What truly made our stay special, however, was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, professional, and always greeted us with a smile. A special shoutout to Vincent and the entire reception team for going above and beyond to make us feel at home. Thank you all for such a memorable stay. Keep doing what you’re doing—we can’t wait to come back!

Property was great staff was helpful and always smiling and went out of there way to ask if you needed anything! Only thing is location is a little outside the main part but other than that 10/10

Staff were very nice. They have a room called Galley that you can go get your own water, hot water, tea or coffee and sparkling water. I love the idea, but unfortunately it partially stopped working. We couldn’t get still water. It just stopped working and kept giving us sparkling water instead. But overall recommended and I think everyone was very nice. Everything was very clean.

The vibe was very different. We felt relaxed and at home. The staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Gave us very helpful information. The room was very clean and well maintained. We hung out at the lobby so we can talk to the staff. Anton in particular was very helpful and a joy to talk to. He made our stay memorable.

The room was great with a good view out to the plaza. The space was more than adequate for our family of four. We had a shower drainage issue in our bathroom so that was bit of an inconvenience. The staff offered to move us into another room but we were already settled in and opted for the repairs the next morning. No additional discounts or promotion was offered for the issue. Overall still pleased the property and only 10 minutes via tram from the Florence train station. It’s bit of a walk into the main city center but preferred a location closer to the tram.

The hotel is relatively new and very modern. The outside terrace was lovely and quiet, although no view. It is across the street from the streetcar stop which would take you to the centre of Florence in 3 stops. We walked a few times but after walking all day- take the streetcar back! The breakfast was ok but no hot options. Some evenings there was live music which was nice. Overall, a clean and modern hotel but away from the city centre.

Total was overall nice, but the Ruz could use a little upgrade. Lots of flies in the hallways and in the hotel rooms.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel in Florence. The room exceeded our expectations—it was spacious, bright, spotless, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated how well-maintained and inviting it felt after a full day of exploring the city. The location was another major highlight. Most of Florence's main attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas were within easy walking distance, which made getting around incredibly convenient. Overall, this hotel offered the perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, and location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay while visiting Florence.

No fridge in room; no coffee/tea in room and galley coffee was instant to be made with a hot water dispensing faucet - surprising for Italy! No ironing board in room. Breakfast buffet quite good but expensive - a nearby caffe is an alternative. Room was large and modern and clean.

Hotel was clean and well maintained. We picked this hotel because it had a loft with a bed for our daughter, so we could all be in the same room. Just a personal preference, we did not like the open concept bathroom which offers little privacy. Also, the shower leaked from the other side of the glass leaving water puddles trailing out. The vibe of the hotel was very cool and we liked the security it offered. Travel was easy with a tram right outside of hotel and a taxi stop.

The hotel is beautiful, great location and the staff is amazing. The rooms are spacious very clean drinks at the bar. Delicious, I would go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel has excellent facilities and is very well maintained. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The only downside is that the breakfast is continental, but the cleanliness is impeccable.

we love this hotel so much. it’s our second time coming here and we would even come back a third time! the hotel staff are so wonderful and kind. the rooms and amenities are very well kept and clean. the rooms are spotless and they are perfect sizes for travelling as well. the bar is also open 24/7 which is nice!

Clean room , really nice staff, really good breakfast. We left without out sandwiches though cause we forgot about them, wish there could have maybe been a mini fridge in the room or something

Lovely big, light rooms in a modern hotel. Yummy, healthy breakfast buffet. It’s quite out of the way, but the public transport links are good and modestly priced.
