The mattresses were absolutely awful, as were the two fire alarms during the first night. Apartment was clean, but not when equipped and the second bedrooms window did not open. Not ideal during a heatwave. Good location for the ACC however.

Good location near Albert Dock but no cafe or food available. Apartment spacious and reasonably well appointed but bed uncomfortable and mattress needs replacing. Quite expensive for what it was and overall a disappointing experience. I won’t stay again.

Apartment was nice and clean but it was really noisy outside with people arguing after their night out. The fire alarm also went off 3 times and we had to evacuate each time because of guests vaping in their room

The apartments was comfortable and larger than expected. It had basic facilities including a kettle and coffee. The block has no foyer and the reception area was tiny and functional, more what you would expect with an apartment block them with a hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful Though not always on site. When I came back to collect my case it was unsupervised and I was unable to find any staff numbers.

It was not like the photos advertised. It was a lot smaller. The building is not the same building in the photos this one looks very drab. The beds are awful, spongy, uncomfortable. The cleanliness was good but some areas like the window step area was dirty in both corners. The fob key wouldn't work. They only give you 1 key to the apartment which means that a family of 4 adults 2 children have to ask for access by the staff if you dplit up on a walk etc.

The hotel has not been open long, but the furniture is already showing signs of wear so I don’t know what it will be like in a year or so. The windows were filthy outside so the view of the dock can only be experienced with the windows open.

We stayed there while attending a conference. The venue was 4 minutes walk from the Exhibition Centre which was very convenient. The 1 bed apartment was spacious with a great view of the Dock and a gorgeous sunrise in the morning. The staff were very professional and accommodating. Chloe was very kind to us during our stay. We will definitely stay here again as we could cook breakfast as the kitchen was fully equipped with all one needs - electric hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery, etc. There grocery stores within walking distance of the Aparthotel. The only downsides were there was no gym (my son noticed this, not me😂) and there was a horrible stench when we walked into the apartment. It would be great to have signage outside the lift with directions to rooms. Otherwise, we had a fabulous stay!

It was nice in the apartment it was clean but there was little faults and smells it smelt like damp or pot or smelly wet mop, the view was beautiful, we had a noisy neighbour above but settled before it was late so we could sleep, it was handy for what we needed for our stay over, they need more than 1 lift and also the lift broke this morning so we had to come down from the 6th floor with our 8 year old daughter which was a bit dangerous and my husband has had 2 strokes so it was bit of a struggle

High quality accommodation in a great location. The ground and first floors are still under construction so from outside it looks like it is not open but inside it is excellent. There is a discounted parking scheme at Kings that is about 5 mins walk. 👌 Restaurants at Albert Dock

Excellent location for docks and ACC, spotlessly clean, secure and excellent kitchenette... but truly awful mattresses. Woefully short of padding on the metal springs, so terribly uncomfortable. Mattresses need to be replaced with decent, properly padded Dreams or similar quality mattresses. Premier Inn solved the bad-mattress problem 20 years ago, so no excuse for other hotels to provide low quality mattresses now in 2025; that's the difference between a 2 star rating and a 5 star rating. Simple!

The dockside Beat Western is a nice property, that has all the amenities you’d require for a short stay. It has well-equipped rooms and the location is fantastic for Albert Dock and the amenities it offers. The man downside is that the room doesn’t have AC so it gets a little warm inside the rooms and leaving the window open isn’t really an option with the traffic noise. Besides that, overall a lovely stay.

Stayed for a few nights. Really convenient for seeing Liverpool centre, Albert dock area. Easy to get buses at bus station a short walk away. Apart-hotel recently refurbished, clean, quiet, good value for extra space rather than hotel room for family (we had bedroom sofa bed). Slept well, shower was excellent.
