Great location. Tucked into the CBD. Stylish design. In-room products are fab. Back-out curtains and comfy beds. Lobby is heavily scented if that bothers/affects you. No tuck shop onsite.

Had such a fantastic solo staycation at Hyde Melbourne. From the moment I checked in, the service felt genuinely warm and thoughtful. The staff asked great questions about my stay and offered tailored recommendations that made the experience feel personal from the start. The room itself was beautiful, with incredible city views and a rich, calming design aesthetic that instantly helped me relax. Every detail felt considered, from the furniture and artwork to the little touches in the room on arrival. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I loved how dark and quiet the room stayed overnight. As a mum in my 40s, uninterrupted sleep felt like a true luxury. The rooftop bar was also a highlight. Great cocktails, cozy heat lamps and stunning sunset views over Melbourne. Returning later that night after dinner and music, the hotel still felt safe, welcoming and easy to navigate, which I really appreciated as a solo female guest. The rainforest shower and bathroom products were excellent, and I left feeling genuinely rested and refreshed. Hyde feels like a stylish escape right in the middle of the city. Cannot wait to return.

The rooms were quirky and interesting not your usual hotel rooms. Extremely clean and well stocked with soaps etc. fab!

Friendly staff who were attentive. Soundproof room and a lovely rooftop breakfast to enjoy on the 12th floor.
