I've stayed at Myze Sumenep twice this year, every time I return to Sumenep. Thank God, my hometown finally has a nice and representative hotel.
WHAT I LIKE:
1. Breakfast is delicious, tasty, and the variety is extensive, including Indonesian, Western, and healthy food, desserts, and even Indomie noodles.
2. In-room dining: not too many options, but the choices are varied. And the food is delicious. Furthermore, ordering is seamless using the app, and they serve until 11:59 PM—a rarity.
3. Hotel facilities, such as the gym, are surprisingly well-equipped, and there's even a pilates machine.
4. Room ambiance: Nice and modern interior, soft mattress, and comfortable pillows.
NEED IMPROVEMENT:
1. Room soundproofing is a bit lacking; noise from the corridor can still be heard clearly, even from people watching TV or chatting in the next room. I noticed the door wasn't sturdy enough and wasn't thick enough.
2. Hotel facility maintenance: Many utilities are starting to fall into disrepair, such as peeling spots on the interior, even though the hotel is still new.
3. The agility and speed of the hotel staff: I ordered in-room dining, but the order was incorrect, requiring me to keep going in and out of the room.
4. The outdoor areas of the hotel need to be cleaned more frequently.
