If you are expecting a hotel it's not, it's a B&B in a couples personal home! It may suit some people and not others. You need to decide for yourself

Delightful hosts who gave us a warm welcome. Beautiful location with lots of walking opportunities. Large room with many personal features. We would certainly consider returning, perhaps as a weekend away treat.

Thank you Lizzie and David for welcoming us into your lovely accommodation that surrounded us with so many interesting features and memories. The Clock Tower is absolutely gorgeous. Our top floor room next to the old clock mechanism was marvellous. Spacious, comfortable, great bed and a large a bathroom. Our small balcony with table and chairs was visited by birdsong all around and no other sounds. Adorable views across the garden towards an ancient church (to which the cherry tree walk is simply delightful) and onward to the more distant rustic countryside. Several times we enjoyed a wonderful walk along the gate-locked lane (no traffic) to the Red Lion - a great pub in the lovely village of Hellidon. Our car stayed parked in the forecourt for several days as we simply absorbed the English countryside. To top it off were the wonderful hosts - and the poached eggs at breakfast - excellent. Indeed, at the risk of overstating things, they were perfect. And of course - our other new friends - the owners' two lovely dogs! When next we visit from Australia we will stay again!

Highly recommend The Clock Tower. It has that rare combination of being off the beaten track yet accessible to everywhere. It feels like a charming family home yet has all the facilities you could hope for from a high end hotel. Beautiful Rooms, generous en-suite bathrooms and luxury toiletries. Wonderful peaceful breakfast setting with every extra offered. Lizzie went above and beyond to make our two night stay a delight.

A very different experience from staying in most other hotels and guest houses. This is more akin to a 'home stay' where you are truly a family guest. For us we instantly felt the difference in a very positive way- as we settled in we instantly felt extremely relaxed. The rooms have lovely views of the surrounding countryside and you can watch the clouds pass by in the sky while laying back in the bath if you choose. Quite a remote location - but the local walk was lovely. The decor was varied with interesting furniture and small art items - it really took us away from the humdrum. The cooked breakfast was very fine indeed and the coffee was tasty. Heck, even the butter for the toast was nice and soft and easy to spread. We loved our stay.

Spotless, charming, very, very quiet, beautiful setting, friendly and attentive hosts. Absolutely nothing negative at all. Possibly one of my favourite ever places I've stayed at in 25 years of travelling for business. I've recommended it to all of my work colleagues.

The Clock Tower is a lovely place, peaceful and remote, while actually being close enough to town to nip to the shops - and the proprietors are very welcoming.

I cannot find the words to describe the clock tower B&B. Situated at the end of a long drive the most amazing building appears and that is just the start. From the minute i parked in the drive Lizzie was the ultimate perfect hostess she showed us around her wonderful house and the rooms were amazing with the views even better even on a damp and dreary day. Nothing was too much trouble and i cannot rate this place highly enough. I will definitely try to get booked in again if ever in the area.

We wanted a quick family night away during half-term. This looked like an interesting and quirky place with lots of character, and so it turned out when we arrived. Lovely big room with a view over the countryside, and more than enough space for two adults and two kids to lounge. Very quiet, which we liked, as we did the delicious breakfast. David and Lizzie were very welcoming and helpful, and pointed us towards walks, dining options, etc, which allowed us to make the most of our short stay. They also dealt perfectly with the fact that one of our family has a fear of dogs, which we really appreciated. Having not stayed at a B&B-type property for a while, this was a refreshing reminder of how good it can be. Would love to visit again once the evenings get brighter.

We, my husband and I with our two teenage sons were visiting GB from Germany and spent 4 wonderful days at the beautiful Clocktower. Lizzie and David are delightful people and welcomed us warmly into their beautiful home. We have never met better hosts. You will find incredibly comfortable beds in a tastefully decorated room with a spectacular view (the sunsets!!), books to browse, tea, cookies, a sofa, Netflix and wifi (especially important for our children) and a wonderful bathroom with a romantic view of the distant manor house from the tup. We walked across fields, visited Warwick Castle and Stratford upon Avon and had a wonderful time in the beautiful countryside. All four of us will definitively be back to visit Lizzie and David and the beautiful Clocktower!

We loved this place from the minute we got there. Great vibes, peaceful, relaxing, amazing views and super hosts. Breakfast was yummy, quality ingredients and fabulous dining room. The bed in the clock tower room at the top is huge, comfy and you can take in the amazing views whilst relaxing. We are definitely going back.
