Amazing property. We have stayed at another five star property in Sorrento. It was sold out. I remember walking by Ara Maris. Happy we booked with this hotel. Location was walkable, quiet, clean our room had a very large balcony. More of a modern hotel. Gym was new and very clean. Very happy with our stay. Would recommend! Have fun!

An absolutely amazing find. Everyone of the staff were cheerful and friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Food was delicious. Rooms were well cared for, modern and clean. The main square was minutes away. Highly recommended.

We were celebrating a special anniversary whilst staying at the Ara Maris, in which we were well looked after. The staff were extremely friendly and the pool facilities were brilliant and relaxing, helping us to escape the business of Sorrento town centre.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—attentive, friendly, and truly world-class service throughout. The location couldn’t have been better. Nestled just outside the Sorrento city grid, it offered the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. Scenic views, a peaceful atmosphere, and easy access to town made it ideal. The property itself was beautifully modern with top-tier amenities. We especially loved the spa and the pristine pool—both were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The food was consistently terrific, offering fresh, flavorful dishes that showcased the best of the region. We stayed in a suite overlooking the Mediterranean, and the views were nothing short of breathtaking. One of our favorite parts of the trip was relaxing at the rooftop bar each evening to watch the sunset—an experience we’ll never forget. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. It was a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and charm. Can’t wait to return!

Hotel staff was amazing. 2 min walk to the center where there were great restaurants and shopping. 3 minute walk to public lemon garden.

Absolutely incredible! The hotel is gorgeous & extremely clean. The location is a 2 minute walk to the square w/lots of shopping & food. It’s also w/in a 10 min walk to the ferry’s. The hotel pool is gorgeous. The staff is friendly and attentive. The roof top lounge has the most breath-taking views. We would 10/10 stay here again!

The Ara Maris which is referred to as the new hotel was one of my best stays at any hotel in all my travels, which is considerable. The service from all the staff whether it be registration, concierge, dining, pool, cleaning or spa wax consistently top notch. It is a physically pleasing site and is close to all the shops and restaurants in the main area of Sorrento. We were there for 8 days and could have stayed longer. I just want to express my thanks to the staff for making our stay as wonderful as we had hoped.

The restaurants here were the best we had in the whole Sorrento. I’ll definitely be back here to stay. The staff was wonderful and the facilities were excellent.

Our stay at the hotel was beyond surpassed our expectation. The property and surrounding area was BEAUTIFUL!!! Concierge staff was great with setting up our roundtrip transportation to/from airport, dinner reservations, and tours. All of the other staff were just as amazing, especially the bartenders at Lumi Sky. We spent our evenings at Lumi Sky watching the sunset drinking limoncello spritz and lemon drop martinis. The breakfast options were also great, but Lumi Sky in the evening was our favorite.

Amazing stay! The property is beautiful and well crafted in the heart of Sorrento. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of dishes. The staff truly makes all the difference.
