I booked this hotel late at night as I wasn’t going to make my destination, the gates were opened up so I could park safely within the grounds. The place was clean and very pleasant. It’s a shame I didn’t get chance to have a swim as the pool looked amazing. A big thank you to the owner for looking after me at such short notice

Easy and pleasant stay in a lovely town.

The room was clean, furniture old but ok, it was very dark because the blinds were closed and had to stay closed because the room was directly on the street so people could look inside the room The people were very friendly also for the dog!

Good hotel. Ground floor rooms available. Lovely position. Friendly staff. Very good food. Only problem wasps. My grandson was very nervous of them and there were a lot. Will use this hotel again

A stay of a couple of days dedicated to some familly business and to the dicovery of this part of Burgundy.

We booked this hotel as a halfway point on the way to Germany from the Loire valley. We thought it would be close to major highways, but it wasn't. But it is located in the center of the small village of Couches which is located in the hills of Burgundy, very beautiful area. The hotel room was nicely decorated and clean. The hotel seems to be family-run and also has a good restaurant.

Room was perfectly adequate and menu looked great. Lovely village but the hotel is in a square with lots of coming and going of motorbikes and cars. Also ados play football which I found noisy so didn't get much sleep at all.

The hotel satisfied our needs. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed. The food was good and the hotelier and his wife were pleasant and most helpful. I will certainly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, very clean and very French (just what we wanted). We had dinner in the restaurant - food was absolutely fantastic and very good value for money (22 Euros for four course menu), however we thought the drinks were quite pricey (10 euros for a 500ml carafe of simple house Rose). Very simple bedroom but immaculately clean and everything you need really. Couches is a beautiful sleepy French village in a very picturesque part of France and the area and hotel are well worth a visit.

J’ai passé un très agréable séjour professionnel d’une nuit dans cet hôtel. Le repas du soir était excellent le personnel très agréable. J’y retournerai avec plaisir.

Prima locatie voor een tussenstop. De kamer was netjes en voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Houd er wel rekening mee dat het plaatsje op zondag vrijwel uitgestorven is en er weinig te beleven valt. Na een lange reis moesten we daarom nog naar een dorp verderop rijden om iets te kunnen eten. Helaas kwamen we te laat aan om nog gebruik te maken van het zwembad, omdat dit al gesloten was. Daarnaast stonden we in eerste instantie bij het verkeerde hotel, doordat er in dezelfde regio een ander hotel met dezelfde naam is. Dat zorgde voor wat verwarring, maar verder was ons verblijf prima.

Dirty room - literally arrived to a leftover pizza in our room. The room was also not in the best shape - bathtub falling apart. Beehive by the pool, which was also not the cleanest. General difficulties with communication as they only speak French. Breakfast was also not great.

Rummet var otroligt varmt och fläkten hjälpte ingenting på natten, vi fick kyla av oss med våta handdukar. Tyvärr stängde personalen poolen kl 1930 och inte kl 20.00 som står i beskrivningen. Så barnen fick inte badat som de hade längtat till eftersom vi ankom kl 1930 pga av bilköer. Dock var de hjälpsamma att ordna ett annat rum med fler sängar.

Chambre nickel, avec ces fortes chaleurs une petit ventilo mis à disposition au top franchement le personnel accueillant serviable ! La piscine était vraiment un plus nous avons passée un excellent séjour! Nous reviendrons

Arrivée un peu difficile le lundi, pas de resto, et non precisé par le site hotel.com. Par contre resto mardi, tres bon pojr un tarif raisonable. Buffet du petit dejeuner tres bien, croissants chauds, ...., manque peut etre la possibilité de faire des oeufs coque, ou durs! Une bonne adresse au final.

Endroit agréable, personnel courtois et efficace, chambre et environnement historique

Opholdet var egentlig meget fint. Centralt beliggende hotel i by, men ikke på slot som billede indikerede. Så husk at se alle billeder inden du beslutter at booke overnatning. Hotellet var af ældre dato, men god betjening.

sejour pour le travail , acceuil horrible ... me dit que je peux venir manger a 19h et au moment du diner plus de place car pas de reservation hors il y avait dix table de libre .. du cou 15 km en voiture .... acceuil du gerant a revoir

Bon repas Bon vin Le seul point faible est la proximité de la route avec un passage régulier de véhicules mais c'est supportable car peu de circulation la nuit

Court séjour convenable. Personnel très agréable et serviable. Chambre un peu ancienne. Calme et confortable, malgrès l'absence d'eau chaude pour la douche.
