From the moment you check in till departure this hotel is perfect. Large bedrooms and bathroom and polite pleasant helpful staff. For anyone visiting Oradour sur Glane the site of World War 2 atrocities this is the perfect location to stay over.

The manager was very polite & helpfu and the property was clean & well maintained but it was on an industrial estate which was a disappointmemnt and made the whole place feel down-market. I was woken in the morning by the housekeeping vacuuming the room next door and the corridors at 8:30, which made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them. Sorry but I wouldn't stay there again.

Clean, sterile, functional. Rather like a renovated older Motel 6 in the states. Friendly and helpful desk clerk. Spoke enough English to help. Good shower (no tub). Room had effective heater once management turned it on, and an openable window. No space devoted to art work, although our room had a yellow wall. We opted to eat at the hotel restaurant because otherwise we’d have to drive. friendly chef and server. We opted for the menu of the day which started with a “pizza” followed by something like chicken along with some decent potatoes. Better than expected. We had low expectations. We would stay here again.

Good overnight stop

When arriving it looks like just a basic motel from the outside but when entering my room, it was good size, nice bed, nice bathroom. You can’t beat it for the price. Nothing really walkable around the place. On the night I arrived they closed at 9pm so call them if you arriving after. I would stay here again.

Very comfortable and clean, and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great. I'd definitely stop here again when needing a stop over with business.

Spotless, spacious room for family stopover on way to south from Cherbourg. Great value and will stay here again.

This hotel is rated as 2 star, but I would say it’s a strong 2 star. The hotel is basic, but very clean, the rooms are a good size, as are the bathrooms with excellent showers. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, which was a disappointment. The lady who was on duty (the only person we saw during our stay) was extremely helpful and pleasant and is a credit to the hotel. The kitchen was closed on one evening and she was concerned that we were able to get something to eat that night. As she had already informed us in the morning, we brought food (and wine!) back to the hotel, to which was added a beautiful creme brûlée she had made for us earlier! The downside is the hotel is not in Saint Junien, it’s about 10 km away and is quite remotely situated in an industrial area. At one point we were the only people staying in the hotel, so, obviously, it was very quiet! A word of caution, if you’re going to stay in this location, perhaps to visit the martyr village of Oradour Sur Glane, the taxis are horrendously expensive! It cost €55 from the airport in Limoge to the hotel (18 km) and €80 from the hotel into the centre of Limoge (about 15 minutes). The taxis start their meters from the point they set off, some of our taxis already had €30+ on the meters when they picked us up! It would be much cheaper & more convenient to hire a car. If you’re happy for a relatively cheap, but clean & comfortable hotel, as long as you have a car, I would recommend it.

Nice hotel, clean, breakfast was decent, the staff were nice and friendly. The room is quite big and internet was fast.

The hotel is next to businesses units and well away from the town. We planned to stay one night and eat there but the restaurant was closed. The receptionist was really helpful and sorted a table at a restaurant in the town and a taxi which was very reasonable in cost. Overall the hotel is fine especially the large clean rooms. And the receptionist.

Hotel staff could couldnt do enough. Happy, caring and very helpful, i would stay here again but for a much longer time. We love it.

It was quite a surprise. Fantastic value. The room was large, the bathroom was large and well appointed. The hotel was quiet. Breakfast was wonderful: very large, great selection. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a bit isolated. Not many restaurants or shops nearby; they're about a ten-minute drive.

The hotel is located on the far edge of a light industrial park and you do need to drive to local restaurants. However, the hotel is very clean and the staff friendly and it makes a great over night stay on a trip through France.

Not a brilliant location but a good hotel and pleasant staff. Ideal for short stays.

Coming from England we missed the coffee making facilities, but we appreciate that they are not common on the mainland. Other than that perfect!

If its a quick stop, no fuss night youre after then this is great. It is what it is. Its basic but clean. Rooms would benefit from more wall sockets and tea/coffee facilities. Its location is remote but that said, there are places to drive to for meals etc.

The women at the reception was very gentile and helpful and it was very good to reach the remembrance place of Oradour sur Glane fast from the Hotel L'Azur

Overnight stay, hotel was clean, food was good, service excellent. Location convenient just off main carriageway, on edge of industrial estate with surrounding countryside.
