We arrived at 4:30pm to find the cabin hadn’t been cleaned since the previous guests had left. It took 2 hours for the cabin to be cleaned, we did get a £100 refund but having a 6 month old baby this refund was kind of irrelevant. The cabin is basically on an unfinished building site. And an unpleasant 15min walk into Gargrave. The cabin main features are dated, no WiFi, small tvs with only the option of traditional tv channels. Not much space in the bedrooms. The important information about the lodge where printing on various laminated a4 sheets, got very confusing should have been in one tidy booklet. Lots of midges when we stayed in August - please see photos. Would I stay here again for £220 a night during the week - absolutely no chance.

Great lodge clean and fresh and very warm within easy walking to the local pub Only issues no WIFI should have checked 1st as cost a packet for international data roaming & then TV not working at all poor signal/connection - reported but no repairs till Monday day of departure!!!

Very enjoyable stay in very comfortable accommodation. Lack of wifi might be an issue for some.
